I am glad you said this I visited and I didn't have this experience. Everyone I met and came across welcomed me. I was invited to someone's home to meet and have dinner with their family. It's all about attitude in my opinion I respected the culture and the people never felt as though I was better.

In just like you…I’m a digital nomad but Kenya and USA are my home bases and traveling is so stressful but also thrilling but you need a break

Like you, during my travels in Africa, the phillipines and Portugal, and Costa Rica. I never run into what I would call any seriousi instances of racism or rejection because I was from America, just a few negative people not worth mentioning. It is all about attitude. I felt freer in all of these countries, as a black man, that I have ever felt in America

Racism is everywhere. Have to be able to move forward. If you feel like your life was in danger then move to a better place. But it's time to get some stability.
