What she is is obvious, and I could even muster some sympathy for her, considering its so transparent. But what distracts me from going down that magnanimous path, is the collusion of spiral eye'd compliance to the narrative that she's somehow not obviously over her head. All sympathy evaporates, when I witness the Oscar worthy acting of everyone who pretends they're not seeing what I'm seeing. I've never liked Trump, but frankly, I can't imagine a more compelling reason to begin to explore and dismantle my bias against him.
@JJLom7772 ай бұрын
Finally! A fair response that's well thought out. I can see your point. But, it's more than clear that her opponent wasn't capable of the job while he had it. And, perhaps more importantly, he managed to get many grifters of one sort or another into his cabinet. It was not good for the nation, or the world. The present administration has a very professional crew that have all had years to perfect their jobs. Still, not perfect. What human thing is? But, it's clear the intention is good. So, I'll stick with that. I suppose another way to look at it is, are we really such a backwards country that we don't think a woman can do the job? Really? And, I've read project 2025. Trump is mentioned more than three hundred times. He lies when he says he doesn't know what it's about. And, society was NOT better a hundred and fifty years ago. Because, that's, basically, what they're trying to pull. And, if it happens, there's no way back. I'm sure Russia, China, Iran and North Korea would be very happy if he got in. Sorry for such a long response. But, your note was very intelligently written. And, I believe you deserve the respect of an equal response. I wish you the best, JJ
@AncientAdvancedCiv2 ай бұрын
@@JJLom777 He did act like a wrecking ball on that first run, but as a context for comparison, he's certainly mellowed, and what's more his cabinet of grifters has transformed into RFK, Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, Jordan Peterson, and a growing list of some very respectable intellectuals, all of which I have alot of respect for, so it feels obstinate to fixate on his first run through the gauntlet of assaults from everyone, including me, and not consider his improvement. I don't think people have a problem with a woman as president. For example, I wouldn't hesitate to vote for Tulsi Gabbard as president. But its plain to see that Kamala is over her head, and she's trying her best to 'play the role' and there's a considerable amount of people who are seeing what I'm seeing. Leadership requires courage, and most importantly in this day and age, courage in ones own moral grounding. In other words. you can't be afraid to 'look' bad, and if you are, you'll be used as a puppet. If there is a bill to heavily restrict freedom of speech applied to the internet, and the left will call it all about 'protection of the children', then you can't be afraid to criticize the degree of restricted freedom of speech in the wording, knowing that any resistance to even the most oppressively restrictive legislation proposed, will still result in you being accused of 'hating the children'. You have to have moral courage to face that 'tactic' and not care what people think. Because that will happen, and Kamala will fold like a cheap suit I'm afraid. The dumbed down version of that is the blue collar mantra " She'll take away our freedoms!!". IMO, they're not wrong.
