@@pallingtontheshrike6374 oh great, may I use this to explain systemic racism and sexism?
@pallingtontheshrike63749 ай бұрын
@@minestar2247 i mean, both are stemming from wanting control over the target group’s labor power, and in the case of racism depriving them of all military power especially so you can maintain control over their labor power (see: uh, every colonial settler state ever). sexism is most directly about dominating and controlling women’s labor/labor power, though it later on is forced to use more convoluted, less blatant methods of control. domination of another’s ability to live, via domination of their labor or of critical resources or both, is the core of economic domination and gaining and exerting economic power.
@pallingtontheshrike63749 ай бұрын
philosophically speaking, the right to live is the most basic and most fundamental right, at least, if you recognize any rights at all. economic power and military power are the positive and negative enforcements/implementations of this right. economic power allows you to dictate (decide, will) who lives, military power allows you to dictate who doesn’t. in this way, a deliberate usage of economic power to deprive another is correctly interpreted as a form of war, or at least feuding. and of course, military power can be used to forcibly acquire limited economic power. so the boundary between the two can be very hazy at times. now that economic power in the form of money and money capital has been allowed to freely exchange itself with almost all other forms of power, of course issues pertaining to rights and life will inevitably lead back to economic power. and due to the haziness of the boundary between e power and military power, as well as continued chaos internationally, of course some of these issues will also lead inevitably to the abuse of military power.

However in a capitalist society where money rules what they also have to do is to make their donors happy, which are usually not the people that will have the power to vote them in. And thus you see them dance their little dances to get elected and reelected while still ensuring the money from their donors keeps flowing. Who cares that they have to lie, it's all just a play for that sweet, sweet illusion of power and enough money to set themselves above the rabble that has to vote for them.

They are actively refusing to work for barely subsistence/slave wages and still not have a place to even sleep or eat without it being provided by the employer. Better off Chinese are refusing to have children or invest their money in the Chinese market (that is why Chinese based LLCs have gotten into the western residential real estate) and so on. We should starve the capitalist machine of children and/or our labor and consumption. If Singapore and China would had the freedom of press and of speech that exists in the USA, the corruption of Singapore and of China would be seen as being 10 times worse than what is in the USA. This is not a reply only to you, but also to some other people's comments which were different from yours. Although this might end covering the subject that you are interested in, yet this will also cover other people's different subjects that they have mentioned. Now applying "@yuliusseraph4973" own logic with the same measure since (QUOTE) "US has free speech because the ruling class aren't feel threatened" (END OF QUOTE) then with the same logic our Bulgarian, Romanian, Hungarian and Polish friends that lived under socialist nations ruled indeed by socialists (before the socialist branch from the same party that were more 'on fire' for socialism calling themselves 'communists' before them the regular socialists still , they had no free speech allowed, and allowed no freedom, and did not allow the existence or formation of other parties because they were threatened by the only allowed to exist people: threaten by "the working class" that escaped their socialist Sovietic genocide - of the homogeneous working and so called "ruling class." although only a quarter of million ruled over tens to hundreds of millions and all were just "working class" and supposed to all be equal yet some were more poor than the ruling socialists or communists, but yet no freedom of speech was allowed without sentence to death or to labor camps slave labor of the worst possible kind, until death . Those countries and dozens of other countries also under socialism and later into communism, from the beginning of the Soviet Socialist invasion, ended all having only one class = the working class with no one rich remained, no rich existent, no rich allowed. No other class survived anymore due to the Socialist Sovietic genocide, yet the Socialist Party and later the Communist part of the same party, didn't allow freedom of speech and the party socialist party dictatorship as well as the communist part that followed, sentenced to death everyone that spoke against the party, yet all citizens that were allowed to remain alive and survived were the working class, no middle class, no millionaires yet freedom of speech was not allowed since that was a threat to the party, and as soon as someone said something not in line with the Party's politics, was arrested and either sentenced to labor camps and fed with just water and a few slices of bread and nothing else per day to work until death in gulag labor camps, or were just executed, killed; (and that is just because disagreeing with that one party's politics). So your guys that is what you want in the USA. We would like you to end being treated with your own medicine as soon as possible. Those socialists members of the dictator party that took power surely were threatened else would have allowed the freedom of speech without trying to get rid of any single person that disagreed with them. Right ? And this matches your socialist propaganda talk that : (QUOTE) "US has free speech because the ruling class aren't feel threatened" (END OF QUOTE) BUT THAT IS A GOOD THING PROVING THAT UNDER CAPITALISM THE RULING CLASS DOESN'T FEEL THREATEN AND DOES NOT EXECUTE YOU STINKING SOCIALISTS AND COMMUNISTS PROPAGANDISTS which when if power your own "Socialists and communists brothers" did allow no freedom of speech and did execute those that speak against them. Another example was in France after the second world war when the Socialist Party never accepted inside communists as members and never got hijacked by communists, but yet during their continuous rule for more than 35 years, they brought the French society and economy toward bankruptcy and their tolerance for the immigrants islamist Palestinians, Moroccans, Algerians all that were Arab muslims of "is slam" (Islam) made things even worse because once they multiply , instead of being thankful toward the socialists that allowed and approved their immigration, they were trying to impose and the socialist France the Islamic fascism to subjugate and convert by force all population to Islam. Life got even worse and the country even more bankrupt and the people said: ENOUGH is ENOUGH and the French have never voted again for the Socialist French Party in the last 33 years so far. The Socialist Sweden had also the same failure made worst when allowed Palestinian kind of muslims into their country (Sweden which had almost no crimes, . . with the lowest crimes in Europe) and now is the worst number one country in Europe with the highest number of murders all which has started only after the immigration of islamists among which were also some of the Palestinians. Therefore the Swedish Socialists lost the elections as well to now have a capitalist oriented Party to deal better with the crimes and put a stop to the pro Palestinian Islamist propaganda that seems to be contaminating this channels with it's deceit. Perhaps you should listen to the KZbin Christian Prince channel to get informed with the truth about what Islam is and where it will lead you, especially if you didn't know that Islamic people called "muslims" made all Atheists extinct in all Muslim Islamic countries. If you didn't know, now you know. Therefore your stinking and deceitful propaganda exposed in your comments in this video, leads no one to any better future but rather to much worse of a future, worse than evidently, you are unable to imagine, and surely worse than you could ever be in the USA's capitalistic system, as bad as it may be, the socialism is about twenty times worse and until you live in it, you won't believe. Therefore we suggest for you to get a visa and more in a socialist country like Cuba, Venezuela or any other socialist country that you may be able to discover, or else in a communist country like North Korea, if you prefer communism. And after few years of live in there, you could have a better sense of reality and knowledge of the truth about what system is better. And to "@yamidom9134" as a response to his comment Our Bulgarian, Romanian and Polish friends under Socialism and later under communism were twice to three times more racists in the 1980-ties than has been the Americans, Canadians and the British in the last 50 years to present time. You also could experience racism today in Africa made by black men toward white men that are not rich therefore the black men does not need to hide their racism in order to earn money from the white rich men as they have to hide when a white rich man goes to Africa. You could imagine that if you go to Africa and have enough money, you will never employ or share any money with a racist black man that would act like a racist against you, therefore as soon as he knows that you have money, he will hide his black racism until you are out of money. So don't play the racist card because every country has some racists, even China got racists against black people while there are some black racists against white not only in Africa but even in America. Stop being a hypocrite and repent IF YOU DID NOT DO IT ALREADY BY NOW.

@Nemo12417 TikTok is no different than the rest of the internet, or anything else humanmade for that matter. It has flaws, and more importantly it has humans, making content that is at times disturbing or degenerate. But amongst it all is the beaten, battered, underappreciated creativity of the human race. Somehow it survives, drowning in what we only see as an ocean of brain-rotting teenagers, and still yet true creativity, true inspiration has managed to thrive here. So yes, TikTok, like the internet, is overflowing with senseless trash, trash that the app doesn't create, trash that we, as human beings in an equally senseless world, create. Yet despite this it remains one of the last places where you can find living, breathing humans, who are inspired, and who share their creativity with others through their many forms of expression. TikTok is not awful for humanity, TikTok is showing us what is left of humanity, and what has become of it in the modern age. Don't shoot the messenger.

Because the US actually loves Corruption
@michaelbrooks7429 ай бұрын
Because the extremely corrupt Supreme Court agreed with Citizens United and said "yeah sure you know what you're right corporations are the same as actual humans and they deserve the same rights, there's nothing wrong with that."
@chimkegnnungetts94869 ай бұрын
Hi, I know the answer to this one. So, the right to petition is super important; sending letters to your representatives, donating to campaigns of politicians you like, speaking in town halls, etc. All these are forms of political "speech" and ways we (the citizens) can influence the government to do what we want. And in the US, that freedom of "speech" is EXTREMELY important. But money is the big one. In the past, there was a limit on campaign donations: a maximum of 1000 dollars. But over time, various court cases have eroded those protections against corruptions, and those limits were removed, and political "speech" was then applied to organizations (corporations) as well as people, and THOSE limits were also removed. It's more complicated, and there are a few qualifiers, but basically corporations can now donate whatever they want, and pour money into federal and state politics, because our courts have decided that that is "political speech." The reality of that is that without corporate money, it's basically impossible to get elected, since if you don't take it, your opponent already did, and they'll be able to crush you with ads and attacks and events and organization. So, with only, like, 2 exceptions, every single politician in the US is beholden entirely to corporate interests and money. But ultimately, it all started out as a horrifying perversion of what it means to have the human right to freedom of speech.

I've been a socialist since my 14th year, 1980. I live in Oz, same story, 2Psrty System, we are the most compressed capital economy on the planet because it's about 4 Banks's, owned by 4 Insurance Companies, Retail is 4 Chains, but we have a functioning Social Liberal Democracy that provides health care, cheap pharmaceuticals, mainly great services provided by all 3 tiers. I'm also a Foundational Life Member of the Australian Pirate Party Foundation. A techno-social liberal think tank (Not affiliated with PPI). I've been following you for a short time but you've got everything at the "just right" level for non-confrontational conversation happenings - forgive an original GenX Hippie, we live a good happening) and just wanted to introduce myself and say MORE POWER TO THE PEOPLE

I don't like TikTok and have never used it myself, but I find the US hypocrisy about it to be downright pathetic. It's part of "How dare a Chinese company do what we are doing." and "Holy fuck, people might actually see how things are in other parts of the world and we have no control over it!!!!!"
