Yea Jericho had many years of great work in WWE and was a huge draw but always got made to feel like he wasn't good enough. His one main event at mania was never gonna be remembered as a great one because it had to follow rock vs Hogan and every other year he was with the company he seemed to get screwed out of the spot he had earned in the biggest ppv of the year.

The Jericho KO storyline was my favorite storyline in years at that point. They had the best on screen partnerships I have ever seen. They were just perfect partnering together and it was heart wrenching when they broke up. When they did, as sad as I was, I was pumped because I was expecting something like the HHH vs HBK rivalry, but instead we just got that crumby match over the US title of all things. The ending of that storyline and how poorly managed it was was one of the key reasons I stopped watching WWE a while ago. Just didn't feel like it had any heart in it anymore, they just care about their ticket sales and network subscriptions

Not really, Jericho was (and still is) a great wrestler but his Undisputed Championship reign was bad because despite being the World Champion, he was just the 3rd wheel of the feud between Stephanie and Trips. Do you remember he used to walk Stephanie's dog? That's not a good look for a World Champion. The main event match between Triple H vs Jericho was mediocre too because it came right after Hogan vs Rock

Remember back then, it was really for an audience of one. An out of touch elderly Chairman who had long since worn out his presence. As sad as I will miss his contributions and what he did for Professional Wrestlers (Yes Vince. THATS what they are) and even mourn some when he passes, he will never shake my opinion of him being the most selfish person I have ever seen.

Jericho vs Owen’s for the title should have been booked at the right place and time. It’s unfortunate for WWE not giving hard working wrestlers the opportunity. I really love the work of Jericho in 2008, to me that was his best year. But working with Owens from 2016-2017 was almost as good as his 2008 Superstar of the Year Performance. I remember that i was dissappointed to see Owens lose the Universal Championship at the Event before WrestleMania 33. It would have been a much better Match for the title If Owens defending against Jericho instead of Goldberg vs Lesnar Part III.
