The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) is the largest militant organization in the Philippines and seeks autonomy for Filipino Muslims. The MILF split from the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) in 1977, although it was generally inactive and did not call itself the MILF until 1984.

In case you care: Oedipus was a prince, his father tried to kill him as a child to avoid losing his throne. His mother secretly sold him as a slave to save his life. Oedipus ended up in the neighboring kingdom where after a successful early life he became the new king (I think he dueled the old king). Oedipus considered himself an orphan and knew nothing of his family, he started a war with his father's kingdom, ended up killing his father and after that taking his mother (the queen) as the prize and as his wife. The two ended up having 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys. One of the girls was actually the main character of the story. When Oedipus and his mother found out about their history, she killed herself while Oedipus took his own eyes out and left his kingdom to become a begger.

Props for keeping an absolute straight face when covering the Moro Islamic Liberation Front. That was an exercise in self-restraint that anyone in a teaching profession should aspire to. I really wish I had known about this in high school for my senior year social studies class. I'd have made a presentation and seen if the teacher caught on. Would've 100% been worth the detention. Edit: the hairstyles are popular from the 50's, which is probably the era in the States where it wasn't jus popular for women to be stay-at-home moms, but solely responsible for taking care of anything domestic. It was borderline fetishized in magazines and the advent of television. It was so precalent that it basically became brainwashing. On top of that, kids of both biological genders back then spent more time around their mothers as a result. That would have some "interesting" effects in the 70's, and later on in the 80's to now. TLDR: MILF hairstyles are a throwback to stereotypical 50's housewife haircuts.

Hes right though. Theres a reason shells and other spiral like structures are seen withing nature and their own species as BEAUTIFUL. Theres a reason the peacocks fan and shapes of each colorful charcater is the most attractive. Theres a reason humans are obsessed with waves in their hair. It shows elements of the Fibonacci spiral. This is natures most natural and beautiful attribute. Even if you look at a waterfall, if it is flat its not that interesting. But, what gives it its beauty is the waves within and created during its splash and contact with the pool below. Rainbows. Its not just about the color. The horizon, the sun. These are all circular and spiral in shape. Hes right either way.

Professor? I have just a few questions. One: Wouldn’t the actual way to display and spell “milf” be “MILF” or “M.I.L.F.” since it is an acronym? Or has it become standard practice to write it as “milf/Milf” since it has been colloquially absorbed like “laser” (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) or “scuba” (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus)? Two: Isn’t the use of “elf/elves” a faulty analogy to support “milf/milves” since you can bring up the counter point that “goose/geese” but “moose/moose”? Three: Since it is an acronym, wouldn’t keeping the “f” in the plural be crucial as it indicates an action that identifies the person in question? Moreover, couldn’t you push it one step further and say that the plural should actually be “milf” (Moms I’d Like to F***) and it is the context in which you determine if it’s singular or plural?

As a current milfology major I would like to clarify your doubts to the best of my ability. One: here you are correct. Even though in the beginning of it's usage the word "milf" was spelled as "M.I.L.F" due to substantial influx of the word use during the first great rise over the years 2001-2004 it gradually became a common practice to use "milf" for convenience purposes. Two: While the analogy itself might not prove the point I would consider it as more of a way of remembering the spelling and not as a proof of the rule. The spelling shown in the video by the professor Lando is currently considered correct but it might change in the near future, as you most likely already know we are currently living in the second great rise also known as "Milfenaissance" because of that the number of people using the word is incessantly rising and as a byproduct of that the colloquialization of the word is inevitable. "milfs" is becoming a new norm whereas "milves" is slowly fading away. Three: Your intuition is not faulty. So much so that if we were living before 2005 you would be correct. Up until the 2005 the word "milf" was considered as both a singular and a plural but after 2005 the "milf" became so much associated with a word and not a acronym it became a common practice to use "milfs" as a plural. "If "milfs" was popular before "milves" why are we currently using "milves"?" I hear you asking. Well when creating a new word a lot goes into consideration, one of these factors is it's associations. For "milf" one of the more common associations is a "wife". While not directly related you will have to agree that these two words do fit quiet well together. Plural for "wife" is "wives" and so the plural for "milf" became "milves". I hope that sheds some light on the case. As I have already mentioned I am a milfology major but not a professor and I just wanted to explain the concepts as well as I could.

Doctor Lando, I've been following your work for quite some time before pursuing my Phd in Pawgonomics. Your paper on the Whooty Utopia was groundbreaking in the field but to my dismay I realized it was all too derivative of Doctors Eduardo Ubstein, Genevieve de Bloc-Lopez, and Mr. Gateaux for their work in Derriere Entanglement. All is not lost however as I received a grant to conduct extensive research at the Detroit Institute of Grand Pubahs and would welcome your continued contributions. What we are working on may be bigger than what Professor Mina Jiana Conda presented in 2014 for the community to see. Bring a long jacket.

This video kinda speaks to things that my own friends have been pointing out to me for years in terms of my taste in women. I use to always dismiss them because I didn’t want to think about the implications. I am in my 20s and have always been kinda known by people around as the guy who has consistently gone after women much older than him in their 30s and 40s since I was in high school. Had admittedly alot of success provided (for clarification the legal age of contest where I’m from is 16) so I usually would rationalize it to people that it was because older women tended to think I was adorable and actually give me the time of day compared to our supposedly more “age appropriate” female peers who seem to universally ignore me. But many who knew my personal life well enough knew that I suffered from “mommy issues” given my own mother (basically imagine a female Frank Gallagher) abandoned me and my siblings. She had been a toxic influence upon my early childhood and is kinda the reason I guess Ive always looked for substitute motherly figures in my life.

I hope he delves into the stark contrasts between cougars and milfs as the semester progresses. that's where I think the crux of why people love milfs, and proof that what makes a milf a milf is the caring, motherly attitude. also, the milf needs to be intentionally seen as normal, no sexy undertones. her actions need to be parallel with motherly behavior. once that stops, the milf classification no longer fits. Ms. Bellum is a prime example of this. she is written to be a sultry, sexy character, there's no way around that. now take Ms. Keen, from the same show. a teacher, a caring individual, and she got dem hips. they certainly don't lie and neither do the facts. Keen is a MILF, Bellum is something else entirely.

I was sheltered in suburbia as a kid. That often meant I couldn't just easily hang out with kids my age. I grew up in the 1990's, so obviously it was a Gen X world. That practically meant EVERY girl you see on TV or film is going to be older than me. And I think that's what influenced me. I have a "mother/older sister" sort of complex that doesn't give stronger preference to my age or younger. I can't really be ashamed to say it. So obviously that's women born in the 1960's and 1970's over those born after 1980. But at the same time, there's girls out there that like an older man and I'm sensitive to that. That's where it becomes a win/win situation because young girls are going to get older in the future...waa waa wee wah.

Milf is an acronym, you don't call multiple of a gif "gives". In calling it "Milves" you are changing the acronym itself, what would the V and E stand for that would differentiate itself from the singular to make that addition worthwhile when referring to the plural? Although by rules as written, you would be accurate. The challenge of written and spoken, and really language in general, is that it it moldable and ever evolving. Take the term "laser": See how it is written in lowercase without full stops and yet technically the proper written form is _supposed_ to be L.A.S.E.R. and thus the plural would be L.A.S.E.R.'s. But "laser" has become its own entity that people comprehend the concept without knowing the initialization. Therefore, imo, like lasers and lols, "milf" has become a word; self standing, w/o the need for its original initialization. Along with this consideration, simply pluralizing "milf" as its stand alone self would be proper as well. Now, however, we need to consider what would be the proper pluralism of "milf". And to this I would subject you to the subject of Tolkein being a stubborn dickweed and pompous tool. When writing his famous novels, the former editor of the Oxford-Webster dictionary, Tolkein, used the pluralistic "dwarves" for the plural of "dwarf". However, many years later, Tolkein themselves admitted that they were incorrect due to the origination of the words themselves. So as "dwarves" is _actually_ incorrect and the proper pluralism would be "dwarfs", I agree with your conclusion that it should be "milfs". TLDR: Tolkein was a pompous dillweed, it should be "milfs" or using OP's logic M.I.L.F.'s.

When the definition of a MILF becomes more specific, especially at high levels of theoretical Milfology, MILF becomes more of a word rather than an acronym, thus Professor Lando uses Milves rather than Milfs

What is something that will love you unconditionally, no matter how dumb or annoying or ugly you unfortunately are? Pets and Moms. What do people fetishize? Catgirls, Foxgirls, Wolfgirls. Also, Mothers. In short, my theory is that, lurking below the kink, there is a desire to just be loved by something despite your flaws. It's a different kind of lonely bleeding into another.

This was answered once in 2009 on a yt vid. It explained that men are interested in a woman who survived childbirth. And the post effects of the body that alter her garner an attraction on par with looking at large hips or breasts, that they don't know. It's not the age, as is the post birth body. There was some study of men who examined women all in the age range of 40s (the men didn't know who was a mother and who wasn't) and the attractive ones were often women who were mothers at some point. And kept in relatively good shape.

It's the process of natural selection at work. Men are wired to seek out women who can provide the best chance for a successful pregnancy. Women who have been pregnant are recognized as being the perfect host for our seed. I believe this is one of the reasons pregnant women develop what we call 'mom body'. It makes it easier for us to spot them as being perfect breeding stock.

As an asstrologist and asstronaut, I can say that these are extremely important subjects that need to be brought to light in my field and others alike. What makes a MILF? Where is the line between MILF and Cougar drawn? Is Pixar indoctrinating young boys into liking Milves and if so... why? I’m looking forward to your future lectures professor. Perhaps soon we can do some field research to answer some of the questions we will be addressing in this class. It would be wise if we could interview some well known Milves and Cougars to hear their thoughts on this subject and have them explain their views on the young MILF loving man. Till next time.

@@justinecooper9575 I honestly feel like I can describe this fairly well. As an expert in Milfology and Cougarology, I’d say the line is simply drawn at the intention behind this woman. As mentioned by the professor in this video, a milf has a nurturing motherly vibe to her, and that doesn’t come with age so much as it does with plain out attitude and experience as a mother, meaning as early as I’d say 19 a woman could be a MILF if they have experience taking care of children. A cougar, is by definition an older woman (Usually 40s-50s) who seeks sexual relations (most commonly) with a younger man (18-20s). The line is that a milf doesn’t have a specified age and has a motherly nurturing vibe, and a cougar is an purely an older woman looking for younger men.

I have a theory that I've been thinking for some time: -MILFS are attractive to some people because the media which we are raised, but also because of the actions that they realize, this is demonstrated by Miss Bellum, she's sexy, but she do not act as a mother or gives that love and caring to a child. However there's a problem with this theory, because if you have ever watched Neon Genesis Evangelion, Misato Katsuragi is a 29 year old woman, very young compared to what would be considered a MILF, however she takes care of the series protagonist Shinji, not so well but she gives that mom vibe, even she states that consider herself as the responsible for Shinji and Asuka at the movie "The End Of Evangelion". So where do we draw this line? I hope we can discuss together next class. Thank you professor Lando.

Even if the accepted role for Misato is "Shinji's surrogate mother", I think it falls better inside the "big sister category", although she acts like a mother to him, so it's a little blurry in my opinion.

if you considered the demographic of when the characters are made, 29 years old is a perfect age for a MILF for a child around Shinji's age because it was normal for people to have a child in their 16-18 years of age. Shinji is 14, so Misato is more like an aunt to him, therefore a MILF indeed.

Grammatically speaking, it would be MILFs as MILF is an acronym. However, by the same logic, the plural would still be MILF as the syntax doesn't allow for you to pluralize a verb. MsILF would then be the technically correct pluralization. Which is phuqing stupid so the justification of the full shark jump into Milves is a preferable alternative to MsILF, and communism.

I strongly disagree about the plural of Milf being "Milves". Why? because "Milf" is an acronym, so to say "Milves" you lose the F in M.I.L.F., so it then somewhat robs the acronym of it whole meaning. "Milf" is an acronym: M.I.L.F., Therefore the proper plural should be "Milfs". Not "Milves".

I would like to propose one more point regarding the very wanted nurturing aspect of milf admiration or otherwise called the "milf vibe". The milf vibe automatically attracts you to the matured woman(which I believe is the crucial part in that attraction. The milf doesn't even have to be super hot she just needs that vibe) and I believe the reason this attraction happens automatically is because... your desire towards the mature ladies love, care and warmth is actually analogues to your heavy craving for the unfulfilled mature or *"motherly" affection cause you either stopped recieving it ever since you grew into a teenager/adult or maybe cause you never received it at all since birth due to cruel or no parentage. I think this is why the milf vibe occurs and works as it does. Thats why people who weren't able to process the adolescent shift from childhood to adulthood or had ignorant irresponsible parents are more likely to fall for this method of sexual/arousal desire than others as they seek that affection within this fantasy. And no this is not entirely mommy issues. In some cases when the child grows up and he is not able to adapt to the real face of this unstable world, this method of fantasy reminds him of the warmth and innocence which once was and now faded. It's depressing if you think. Thank you for reading this and I hope life gives you good.

@@theredsir869 I was able to excavate so much into this subject matter of mens obsession towards milfs as I can emphatise well enough being a guy myself. So from my perspective I'd like to answer your former question with a Yes. Though, remember as I mentioned previously, I connected myself with that(previous) topic well enough to decipher it. And as I can't COMPLETELY empathise, look and think through the consciousness of a woman, there come higher chances of my thesis being inaccurate. It'd be more convenient if a fellow researcher from the other gender can answer our conundrums. On other hand, I'd like to resolve that the concept of sugar daddy feed off from a completely different need. While it's something which is chosen by women(and I respect their choice) to quench materialistic needs, the concept of dilfs or having care and affection of mature arms is more of an abstract, emotion-dervied and "compulsively fulfilling the need for good parenting" kinda concept. It's so abstract and incomprehensible for my gender to comprehend that my vocabulary doesn't even consist enough words to define it. Also, Kudos! Your question is discussion & meta study worthy, it will surely bring humanity close to achieving greatness.
