I wish I had those 40%'s, you don't even need flat subs with those high numbers! xD My misfortune were flat substats because I couldn't complete my last Icaru because of a tiny little grind needed in flat def. I spent something like 3 days in Raid even for a green one, I was desperate, lol. Yesterday I got 2 Determination runes and this made me totally skip the last levels needed to max out the Defense Tower: the team was ready! :D

but this is the same mindset that everyone has after building a bjr5 team. its tedious af to get the runes and team together but once done, it's game changing. also, no one has to farm all day. players just have to accept that once their energy is exhausted, they can farm tomorrow.

SeanB i love your videos and I try to watch as much as possible because your content is very entertaining and helps me learn about the game. However after i Watched the Rune Guide you made i was a little confused. From what i took from the Video you keep blue runes if they roll double speed at a point where its usable. Purple and Legendarys are kept if they have high stats and matching stats. etc. Slot 5 with Spd, HP% Def% Atk%. im just really confused as to what runes to keep and what runes are good. Keep in mind im only about 2 months in but i can do all dungeons, even tho my rune skinda suck. Also GB12 is rough gonna have to put my Shannon on Violent to keep her Def buff up

U got exactly what i wanted to say. Either speed or high % stats (efficient) as they can be grinded further in the future. A combination of speed with % is the best. Or Crit rate + % stats are good for early game damage dealer too. B12 will require u to be slightly tanky and still do good damage

It's a really good point!!! F2P players DO NOT need 40s teams ever. It's still okay to slowly build up Triple Icaru team since it can become a fast 100% team for 3 separate dungeons (And Icarus probably contribute to world boss, if it matters). But Triple Icaru team should be a side project where you lookout for good guard runes while farming, NOT a main project. Just don't go on and waste reapp stones or farm for determination runes for it 😂

You dont need determination runes at all. Determination just makes things a little easier and its not becoming competitive in pve because everyone is building the team, at least mid to end game players. Determination is more so for people who didnt max their towers

Biggest reasons I haven't messed with it is, A: It takes 27 days of Dhole energy, minimum, to awaken all 3. And B: If it ends up getting nerfed, I'd be left with 3 useless 6 stars that I won't have a place for elsewhere. I've just got that sinking feeling this might be another pre-nerf twins scenario...

The energy spent to me is simply investment: - You could have farmed runes, yes, for a slim chance of anything good dropped. My last 200 D.energy gave me a couple usable grinds lol. In the grand scheme of things, 27 days worth of energy is nothing. We all waste thousands of energy that got overclocked while we sleep before they introduced higher energy limit anyway. - Or you could have gotten a fixed outcome which is the Tricaru team (granted you can properly build it) and potentially forever improve your DB12 team. And this team can always get better as long as you get better runes. The Nerf: - BJR5 is also a F2P-friendly best Raid team. They even made it easier to achieve with artifact system. - Icaru as a solo unit is pretty garbage while Baleygr is a strong guild war units. Imagine the outrage from nerfing Icaru lul The Twin thing: - Twin was literally broken. The rune requirement for them to destroy dungeons was a joke and U could literally use them in ANYTHING. - The second twin nerf was mostly for PvP. Shaina Martina or Quad Twin comp was shitting on people left right center too easily. - This team requirement is not as easy as people think it is

@@SeanBGames Fair enough. I've got no doubt endgame players wouldn't mind a month of dhole energy going into it, though I'm not sure how earlier game players would feel about it. Icaru is pretty bad on his own, but with the amount of effort Com2us puts into these main dungeons, it feels like they wouldn't be happy with people going the cheesy route. BJR5 does make me think this is gonna be a staple in the game, but then again, there was a firestorm of outrage when twins got nerfed too and that didn't make C2U back down.

Com2us buffed Loren, Fran and Bella to where they are now and they even buffed Verde of all units AFTER he was made accessible and became everyone's MVP for dungeons. None of those have been nerfed even though a lot of people are still salty about Loren, Fran and Verde. Well, Fran got a minor nerf but the chances of them nerfing Icaru are smaller than the chances of them nerfing Loren and Verde.

Have you taken into account the determination set(s) on the other Icaru? If you build every Icaru det/det/guard, you only need 30% defence between your slot 3 and 6 runes (15% per rune, basically a blue rune's worth in rolls) assuming 6 star slot 2/4/6 def% and +112 flat def on slot 3 (+12 six star slot 3 gives 112 def iirc), 200 def from artifacts and maxed towers/guild level. If you're struggling consider looking for runes with flat defence. Remember that slot 1 runes can't roll def or def%, so you should focus on slot 1 for accuracy and spd.

One detail people might not think about is that the wave mobs is not fire type, they are wind. So I guess to one shot wave mobs, damage on wind arti is not that bad...

I think the best thing i got from this is i dont need 30% def subs on my 3 and 5. I keep forgetting the 25% we get from glory towers and guild. Im way overshooting it with my rune selection cuz ive been farming the hell out of db12 and i got a nice amount of guard runes at my disposal but ive been selling anything under 20% defense... oops.

I have the Icaru team that fails(Not consistent)! 1st icaru - with 180 spd which they say it is recommended to run first. All 3 icaru's at 2.4k + DEF. Only Lv6 DEF tower, No ATK and CD tower yet and no skill ups yet on VERDE but stats is +2024 ATK, +5 315 HP, +201 DEF +10 spd, CR 100% and CD 171, with ARTI +100 ATK on both. (All icarus atk with other 3 no issue) I have the very first icaru team that fails in db12 hahahaha

Still gonna bulid it. Farming db10 for a month now and only 4 usable runes for my triple icarus. Imagine being excited when it notifies you that you got a legendary rune but it's a 6* slot 4 flat def rune with spd sub. Bruh
