Hello Laura! We will be visiting San Jose in February for the first time and would love to take this tour …would you recommend taking it on a Thursday (Art Walk Day) or on another day? We will be staying at the Royal Solaris for 10 days….

That was a great video! You showed some of the best young people there doing an amazing thing and it gives this old man a glimmer of hope. In my own travels I am always attracted to, and inspired, by the young people of a place who are forming creative communities for social and environmental change as well as artistic and personal expression.

Loved this side of Los Cabos. I've not been since 1975. I, wife and 3 year old daughter with my parents in their RV, roved down hwy. 1 from SF, CA TO Cabo. Rowed out to the arch, played on the beach of love. Cabo had one hotel, on a hill. A dusty main drag, market, not much more than 200 residents. Beach had development start ups, a time share, an upscale rv park. Waiters in formal wear. I asked for a 7up for my daughter. Huh? Sieta aribe? Huh? Lemon, lime soda? Ahhh squeezed a lemon. A lime and squirted it with sweet soda and ice. Best 7up she ever had.

Traveling around world is very hard to see the real history of that magical place you have landed with tour likes this you really find the Encanto of the people and their roots is true that many of us travel to relax but I do think that we all want to learn about the history of the place and with that you really have a full story to tell friends and family...

Great information. We tend to avoid a lot of the beach towns because we don't party and we don't like to hang out at the beach all day. Nice to see that there are food tours and the cultural tours.

Thank you for these BCS videos. My friend just sent me a link today and I think we've been shadowing you. We were in Todos Santos from Jan 2 to mid-Feb and it was great seeing your videos of the places we loved (seafood tacos on Colegio Militar and at Sinaloense). We're now in San Jose del Cabo and it's great and, as you note, much more walkable. Will be watching for more of your food recommendations here. This is a great place to work from if you can work remotely.

I have visited Cabo San Lucas about 25 times. But never San Jose del Cabo. I will be down again the 2nd week of April and staying at Vidanta. It would be great if I can book a tour with Christian. He seems really passionate on the history of the area. When I arrive in San Jose I will consider booking a tour. Thanks for an informational video.

That's true, to me seing all that colors in buildings and that bright color papers (papel picado) hanging in the streets is so folckoric but from south of México, is not as the traditional towns of Baja California, with mostly white or brick walls buildings and sometimes houses made of adobe. To me what we see now is like a "piñata" town, little by little the Baja identity is getting lost.

Hi! I have never been in los Cabos And lately I’ve been contemplating the idea to buy a property in los Cabos, so I started watching videos about how’s the area and I came across with tons of videos (mainly in Spanish) saying that is one of the most violent city not only in Mexico but in the world 😳 can you make a video about this please ? So we can learn more about this topic and people that are thinking about moving there learn more about this. Thank you 🙏🏽
@missmayflower3 жыл бұрын
A few questions. First, why would you even contemplate buying property in a place you haven’t even visited? Secondly, do you realize that she is in San Jose Del Cabo, which is a different place than los Cabos? Thirdly, where did you get the info that it is one of the most violent cities in the world? I googled “most violent cities” and it didn’t even make it onto the list.

Thank you for the wealth of information. Have you ever heard of anyone that pays a stable rent not based on the exchange rate? For example the Peso can got 30-40% in any direction so a $1000 per month apartment can got $1300-$1400 some years based on the dollar exchange
@missmayflower3 жыл бұрын
You just look for a home that has rent in pesos. The best way is boots-on-the-ground, asking around the neighbourhood if anyone knows of a local with a house to rent. Also there are many Facebook groups dedicated to rentals in specific places that will allow postings only with rent in pesos.
