The real story on Colorado-Nebraska was revealed in the latest release of the Huskers' "Chasing 3" documentary. Our suspicions were confirmed: Nebraska players, coach Matt Rhule and his staff were angry. And the Buffaloes had no idea what was coming at them last week in Lincoln.
Connor and Mitch review the scenes from "Chasing 3" and assess the impact of Rhule's motivational tactics -- which included a "Primetime" drill that the Huskers instituted last winter, and multiple appearances Friday and Saturday in front of the team by boxing champion Terence Crawford. Did you catch Rhule saying Friday night instead of Saturday night? In my opinion they are working on Illinois game plan for northern Iowa. It is the same style of play. It will be a short week for that game and it makes a ton of sense. Not saying they are looking past northern Iowa but using them in prep for Illinois.

Yes, they can remain on the sideline. In 2020, the rule was updated to no longer require players to head to the locker room after targeting is confirmed.
