The guy told you to get a Buck Man to help you find an Anaconda snake, then corrected himself to say an Amerindian. Amerindians are indigenous, Native Guyanese who invented the canoe as well as Cassava ( Yucca) based dishes and Guyanese Pepperpot in which a cassava syrup called Cassareep is used to preserve the meat for days without refrigeration as long as it is boiled/ heated up each day. No vegetables or ground provisions can be added to the stew or it will spoil. They live mainly in the interior of Guyana . They live in the Pomeroon, Essequibo Islands, East Berbice - Corentyne Area and Upper Takutu.

Try to see if the old Starlite Drive-in cinema is worth visiting today.Also you must try to visit the Guyana motor race track which is close to Timehri Airport. try to get into the interior if only briefly as that's where the real beauty of Guyana is to found.
