The reality is that the local authorities and private landlords have decided to milk the junkie dollar and use the town as a dumping ground, it’s pretty much a free range rehab for ‘vulnerable people’ but while they lap up the blank cheques it’s the actual residents that have to suffer the consequences of their greed. They don’t live here and suffer in the countless ways the residents have to. Whenever the subject is brought up on social media it’s exclusively middle class ‘do gooders’ who think they’re just poor innocent victims of the nasty tories ( yawn) but they don’t seem so keen on helping these poor little victims when it’s suggested maybe they could provide housing in their own exclusive little patch it seems their virtue only extends as far as those they clearly considered it beneath them having any of issue dumped on them.

Same as Hastings in the south east. It's a dumping ground for losers, junkies and other bums.

I think regrettably Cosgarne Hall has a lot to answer for. It is supposed to help and support people but some of the people seem beyond help.

I don’t think Cornwall is that bad really but what does happen can stand out

Which part of Cornwall do you live in?
@sevenman9672 Жыл бұрын
@@Porkcylinder Penzance and I’ve spent time in other Cornish towns and am originally from Blackpool have also spent a lot of time in Plymouth some areas of Cornwall are nicer or friendlier then others like anywhere but it doesn’t seem to have much crime anywhere like organised crime. Biggest issue with most of Cornwall is it’s overpriced and full of middle class people from south east England with posh accents and have never had a hard life.

@@sevenman9672 organised crime 😂you ain’t got a fucking clue sunshine where do you think all the coke and smack comes in? Yeah you thick northern smack rats take it ( I’ve been to Blackpool) a more depressing hive of smack addled human waste you never see but just because you don’t know what’s going on don’t kid yourself it ain’t happening. Believe me it is.

That’s laughable really. Yeah Cornwall isn’t like the bbc documentaries. But if you don’t like crime you should probably leave the UK

It’s kinda like that here in Chattanooga.... maybe worse. Our city though, is so spread out that you won’t notice it in many parts of town. Saint Austell looks pretty confined from what I’ve seen

Its sad i grew up in that town. It was always a nice pleasant town and everyone hung out at woolies and the Coffee shop. Never any problems except us hahaha. But it was a nice place to live now it looks run down.

Moral of the story st austell is a shit hole and its not worth wasting you’re time especially if you have young kids avoid the town .. theres a reason our local mp left his office what was in the centre of town for one further away from town lol

It's just the town centre really, and some neightbourhoods near it (Gover in particular). I go there at night all the time, yeah you see some junkies and people get pissed but it isn't really as bad as people say in my opinion.

No that’s because Steve Double had people like me questioning him on a daily basis about covid support which he helped me by telling me to get a job and close my business. Steve double is effectively walking in a dead mans shoes :(

That’s because Cornwall Council sell of more council homes than any other council vice versa. Cornwall locals get pushed out to house problem families from there
