Finally someone explained this. 4 months back I was looking for a scooty for my wife to pick & drop my daughter from school. When I did my research on EV bikes and this graphene battery and calculated the battery cost and per mile cost, I came to decision this EV thingy is too early for a country lik Pakistan. Graphene batteries have very less life. If its Lithium Ian battery its good but they are pretty expensive. So ended up buying United 100cc (power sport) scooty and pretty happy with my decision. Agr usk manufacturer 1 saal ki warranty dy rha and ap bht carefully bhi usy rkho to 1.5 saal chl jaye gi max. Is time 6 cells wala battery pack around 70k -80k ka hai. Yaani every year ye cost aap ne pay krni ev rkhne k liye. Petrol se save kr lo and then year end pr ikathy paise lga do On top with time uski range km honi he honi. Its not an issue just with ev bikes its with every battery be it in your phone, car or solar panel. Only point is how late they will detoriate.

Funny thing is he bought a Tesla and Hummer EV both of which have zero service, maintenance or spare parts availability. It is much more likely that the EV scooters/bikes being launched in Pakistan will have more customer care than an privately imported item. Also he states at 7.54 EV bikes have warranty in Pakistan but his imported Tesla, Hummer has zero warranty. So he's preaching opposite of what he's doing

I was one of few early one's who bought these EV Scooters, after 1 year range started dropping. I bought YJ Future Electric Scooter with lead acid battery, it costed me 140k to purchase it. I had to change the battery which costed me 80k, it's been a year and a half now after installing lithium battery in my scooter and it's giving me almost 60-70km average daily. Had two accidents on the scooter as well and yes company does not have any parts as expected, my front headlight was broken got fixed it locally. All things said anyone who wants to buy these scooters I would say go for it but, buy it with lithium battery and also finding parts is a major issue you can face.
