But in India I think most of the channels and news media are controlled by vested interests and they present the news/information as per their mentor’s guidelines. PALKI IS WRONG. The question asked to Palki was," What do you think that our country is doing absolutely right (in terms of our way to become the biggest economy in the world) ?". Palki answered that India is doing right by standing on its ground and refusing to be lectured by anyone else. And then she set an example of an American newspaper saying it's not safe to come to India. First of all, US newspapers don't talk about India that much. The US does have travel advisories on its Bureau of Consular Affairs website for different countries around the world and the purpose of this is to protect US citizens traveling abroad. For example, there are high-risk areas in India that US citizens are advised not to travel or they can travel at their own risk. These high-risk areas have high incidence of violent crimes and possible terrorist attacks which might target tourist locations. Since US government has limited ability to provide emergency services to US citizens on these places, travel advisories are made. It's not a lecture for India as Palki has interpreted it but the advisories are mainly for the safety of the US citizen travelers. So how does comparing it to a six-year old shooter in the US a way for India to stand on its ground? It doesn't make any sense. In reality Indians are still lining up for US visas. Palki should have answered the question about what India has done absolutely right in such a way that would highlight India's strengths and accomplishments. But instead she is too consumed by her hatred on the US and west that she cannot think of any strength of India without having to say putdowns against the US or the west from her bitterness. BITTERNESS is not a streghth. Be proud of your country and be proud of what India has to offer to the world. You can be nationalistic without having so much hatred on other countries.

Amazed at her way of presenting ideas in such direct and simple way that totally disarm the listener. "Hamare bachon ko hum chaku bhi nahi dete, aur aap bandook dedete hp?!" I crazily love the last part of you asking the audience what we want so that you can set the narrative. So many fascinating takeaways from today's podcast. I must say that I'm based in a western country at the moment and the content they consume and show in the form of news, quizzes, shows etc. is on an average better than in our country (For anyone reading this, please take this in positive light as an improvement area). I'm glad that content creators like Raj Shamani are changing the narratives. One other thing that feels great is that once upon a time, anchors/facilitators have only been about asking some scripted questions or sometimes even dumb or one-sided questions. Now, you are changing the ball game and participating with your 2 valuable cents, I like how it's more of a discussion than an interview along with letting perspectives flow in an unbiased way. You may have people to pull you down (it is natural for any successful person to have people jealous of their growth), but I believe that you are here to survive and rule in your own way ❤
