Certain people assume that they can do very splendid tasks through magic which is a prank. There is no such a trick by which anything that exists can be made to disappear or anything non-existing can be created, or one thing can be changed into another thing. Such things do not happen actually. By applying tricks, such views can be created. A sorcerer can hide anything from the eyes of the people and later on he can exhibit the same. In the Quranic verse 7:116 Allah says, “They cast a spell upon the people’s eyes and enchanted them….” In the Quranic verse 20:66, Allah says “their cords and their staffs by their magic appeared as snakes to him”. Allah didn’t say that they transformed the cords into snakes. In the verse 20:69, Allah says “that which they have made is but a wizard’s trick… So, ‘Sihr’ which is known as sorcery is nothing but gimmick. Those who bluff ‘we will make the hands and legs inactive’, ‘we will make things which would never exist' are unable to become rich by means of their magical power. Some of them could have become rich when they had extracted money by deceiving the people. So, from this we can understand that ‘magic is mere humbug.

And you follow only the man who was charmed.” Al-Quran 25:8 What about this Quran ayath, it's telling the lalimoons is telling ( the prophet preaching because of sihr). Quran denied their words strongly. In Al furqan,Al dariyah surah clearly Allah mentioned . Please try to understand. That hadees sanad also weak(one weak is there).and it's also against Quran. And in one saheeh hadees abudawood reported in major sin that one who is believing that sihr can cause something is also a major sin. There is no haqeeqath and thahseer in sihr. Our prophet is very strong mentally nobody can do anything.

The quran and the bible also explained about the story of Adam. But did the Quran and the Bible exist at that time of Adam? No it doesnt have to.

One big point of confusion. Quran combats black magic. Towards the end of the lecture he says the Jin will react and run from the Quranic verses. Yet Jin can be muslim. Taking both points that were said, Jin cant read the Quran ("jins burn"). I feel a level of contradiction, though there is a lot of knowledge in the lecture. Too much speculation and some incorrect conclusions, but it is useful for starters. Also not all Jinns are evil, and an Ifrit is a category of the largest Jinns (as in the story of Aladdin and the lamp). The Book of Sulaiman is the source of how to bind and control Jinns, it also contains the knowledge about sihr the two angels Harut and Marut passed to humanity in the time of Idris as a test (see The Book of Enoch). And a Qarin Jinn comes onto men and control his/her, while men think they are themselves doing evil, (see Quran). In some cultures this Qarin Jinn is sent from one person to another, just to get rid of this entity from the primary possessed human.

Nowhere did he state all jinn are evil. Where sihr is concerned, only evil jinn are responsible as the good jinn do not involve in human matters as human and jinn are both forbidden from interacting with each other.

In fact you cannot from reality attribute any peculiar act to jinn because you would not be able to verify it. just because you cant explain the cause does not mean it is jinn. this type of thinking creates non-productivity in our ummah because we stop thinking of solutions for our problems and get diverted with magical solutions. very disappointing how a respectable scholar can lower the thinking of the ummah with such subjective opinions.

Everything bad that happens in their lives is attributed to magic or jinns or some such nonsense, so they make no attempt to improve themselves or their lives.
