Buying store brand will help save some money..buying from the $1.25 store you can buy plain seasonings and learn to make your own seasoning blends..learning how to bake from scratch making your own breads and snacks will also help stretch your food stamps..We are all in the same boat together trying to feed our families in a budget ..lots of recipes on the internet such as pancake mix, I use to make a mock pancake syrup ..making a batch of cookies will cost you 90% less then buying that box of chips..I wish I could teach everyone how to cook/bake from scratch it hands down would save more money to buy more food..

Yess I definitely agree . Sometime I make cookies and sometimes I let my kids choose a pack . That’s very true. I’m always researching new recipes and cooking them for my family. I just finished cooking a new recipe I found on the internet . I’m still learning as I go . I wish I would’ve asked my granny when she was alive to teach me a lot about baking and cooking more ingredients because she was a pro at cooking and baking from scratch.
