Awesome! I'm still dreamin of the swap.. what mpg are you at with your gearing and 35's?

That's a good question. I've not calibrated my computer. So in reality it travels further than indicated on the odometer. So I don't actually have an MPG number, and as such I don't even try to keep track.

@@tahoverlanding I feel like no matter what vehicle you have if you put 35s on it it's going to get between 10 and 15 mpg. I have a Nissan Titan with 35s and a high top camper and it gets 11 on the highway (adjusted for tire size)
@Christian.jsf1 Жыл бұрын
The camper brought it down about 2 mpg and the tires another two about

Given how close the 35s are at full compression, do you think it's realistic to try 37x12.5 with the sas?

I can't say that you'll get it to tuck as well. 35 is a really good fit. But I don't know 100% how the 37 will fit until I finish my next one

I have moog 81069 (I think that's the part #) they're rated for more weight and they're 1.25 inches taller than factory. Add that with bilstein 5100 3 inch lift shocks, and I have about 10ish inches of down travel and about 5 or so of up travel and it rides just like factory with my 10 ply 33 inch cooper rugged treks. I'll send you a pic on insta if you want

My 285s do rub tho. But I don't have wheel spacers so that'd probably solve that issue, and it rubs a lot more on the passenger side. But it rubs where the inside of the tire meets the fender liner against right above the frame

@@thomasmullinsiii7759 an adjustable rear track bar, just like I say at the end of the video. Will allow you to fine-tune the transverse location of the rear axle to make those rubbing issues either go away or at the very least a lot better.

Definitely will. But right now it's alright. I'll worry about all that when I sas

@@thomasmullinsiii7759 as I recall you've been wanting to do it for a long time. Obviously I'm going to say it just go ahead and pull the trigger and get it over with LOL
