That child’s childhood was stolen. He only knew what he was groomed to know. I looked into his story and one reporter showed that his grandmother was taking care of him and he even called her while he was on the run on a pay phone I believe and that was the last time she spoke to yummy. There is an interview from the two men from prison that killed him and in the interview they were apologizing to the family and even tried to reach out to the family. I see that all three of these boys childhood was taken from them and was lead down a dark path. The two men stated they had no other choice but to kill him or they were going to be killed. That’s a tough situation to be in. So for anyone to say you should have done this or you should have done that, it’s easier said then done especially if you never was in the streets or born into a family that is heavy in the streets. It is better to just pray that God will deliver them out of these horrible situations all around the globe.🙏🏽🙏🏽

@Bumpy Johnson because ive heard about this story. I heard the reason he was killed was because he hit and killed that girl u mentioned while shooting in a crowd with gds in it. Plus like u said the leaders were afraid he would tell. Because they were hiding him at 1st but he ran to see his grandma. Then he also decided he would turn himself in but ran away again. @@billymo9782 yeah guess but using kids for crimes wasnt anything new at all. Its done because the laws are less harsh for a minor especially of that age. Especially when your talking about in those days before there were as many laws for minors. Though even then kids can get ridiculous sentences. I think the youngest person to get the death penalty was a 14 year old black child named george stinney. Just a fun fact. But using kids in crimes isnt exclusive to Chicago in anyway.

As though the poor child made the conscious decision to lead a violent life. Based upon the fact that was just no good. That man should have condemned his parents. The mom was a bad crack addict and prostitute and had over 50 arrest and convictions. He was abused and probably sexually abused by crackheads the mom ran off for days smoking crack. Cps put him and two other siblings were placed at the grandma house and her house was no better. It would be 19 kids at the grandma house including grown dopefiend kids then Cps came and took them from her house and put them into a kids facility in which Yummy ran from and never was caught and he was here in there wherever he could be which probably how he got into gang life. Needing a family and place he could eat, make some money, lay his head and feel like he was loved.

Dope vid bro. The kianta kid was actually a young teenage boy and the teenage girl that got hit actually died on the scene and her name was Shavon Dean. But I agree so many ppl failed that boy, mainly his parents, grandma, the government and the gangs. The gangs wouldn’t have been able to get close to yummy if his mother and grandma would’ve been more responsible. After 30 arrest cpd and dcfs should have realized yummy needed to be in a foster home far away from the city ASAP. Yummy had two older brothers that were in foster care at the time this whole situation happened which is where yummy should’ve been also. And we all know these street gangs are full of cowards who love using kids to do their dirty work. Certain ppl like some neighbors actually tried to steer yummy away from the streets including the mother of the young girl he killed. Ppl always say that in cases like this that the community should’ve stepped up. But in this case the community did try to step up and yummy still turned out to be a bad seed. I feel bad about what happened to yummy but it’s hard for me to believe that anything other then an extreme intervention would’ve changed that kid. Everybody be posting rip yummy but I hardly ever see anybody mention the most innocent victim from this whole tragedy which is the beautiful young girl who lost her life due to irresponsible adults from all sides. RIP Shavon Dean❤️

A lot of children, young people and adults have their entire life stolen. Most never stood a chance in this life. Everyone fails them. It's a true miracle when someone makes it out of these circumstances dealt to them. Sadly, it's not just a story from the past. It still happens today. One person can't save everyone, but I think each of us can do more than we are doing. At the least, be kind to one another. You have no idea what they've lived through.
