God this is stunning, every clip matches the song perfectly and you know exactly what footage to use to show their entire relationship in the span of a song length, the development, the character growth, everything, its amazing Honestly I don’t know what it is about watching these edits but they always make me tear up, been watching eastenders since i was like 6ish? The earliest storyline I remember was the stella/ben abuse and it stuck a cord with me (as dumb as that sounds) so seeing ben being put through everything he’s dealt with over the last through years, the homophobia, the abuse, the neglect from his dad, its way to relatable (im literally gay, got a shitty relationship with my parents and im like 3 years younger than ben lmao) so finally seeing ben happy with Callum just gets to me. Idk why, its just great to see him happy for once 😭💕 Just hope one day I can find myself a girl who’s like callum and wont make me feel like shit cause of my family

I think most of us find solace in the Ballum storyline in some way - it's just too brilliant. Like both Ben and Callum, I too have a pretty crappy father so lines like "He's just some bloke who got your mum pregnant" really resonate with me. Even though I'm not gay nor a bloke, I'm still able to relate to their story in some way and I think that's remarkable. As for your situation, here's to hoping you find the female version of Callum out there somewhere! 😊
