I have used other sprays but the last several years I have only used Counter assault- it sprays further than some of the others. I'm actually alive because of bear spray. We have like 3 bears for ever single person in the state of Alaska. I spend my free time in the woods backpacking. I have had some very close encounters.

They need to sell a practice version ( an exact replica of of their product in the exact can BUT REFILLABLE containing some harmless aerosol ) so that it is financially feasible for the average hiker/person to purchase a "practice" can. This will enable them to learn the motion from holster to ready, practice the reflex response, and get the aim down!

Yes it absolutely will. Better than a handgun. A mountain lion charging would be extremely difficult to place a deadly shot on given their frame and movements with a firearm while under duress. This spray has a huge range and large cloud. There are videos online from people protecting themselves against mountain lions effectively with these sprays.
