Absolutely LOVE this direction on your channel. I've been a fan for a few years now, but this is the best so far.

Really appreciate the honesty in this conversation. Navigating the modern dating world as a believer is not an enjoyable experience, but it helps to know other people are actively struggling with the same things. Thanks for sharing guys! Keep up the good work.

I am not religious but I love it that you talk about deep stuff like that. I feel like it's very interesting and makes me think about things differently. Thanks for sharing, I would love to see more videos like that! Please keep us updated about the process of reading the book and your thoughts about it!

Been married 25 years, before internet dating got rolling. I 'fell in Love' many times. The thing that saved me was the thought " Can I accept their bad habits/imperfections for the rest of my life?"

You didn’t “fail”, Silas. You learned. We usually find what doesn’t work, before we find what what does.

Dating has obviously changed overtime..MTV shows like the real world..jersey shore..oh and the bachelor has basically ruined most of our minds on how to date and pursue someone in a godly way..let’s not forget about the sexual revolution and it’s role into today’s hookup culture..the dangers of missionary dating..and many more other topics that relate with dating..God Bless

i don't really like the way you talk about "quality spouses" and "women should have these and these qualities". i liked the talk but every time i heard this it felt wrong to me idk.

The whole thing is super weird. It's great that they're talking about emotions, but the way how everything comes back to God is honestly disturbing. It's like they don't want real wives with their own personalities to love, they just want a wife to fulfill their vision of how they should live their lives. They just want a "good wife" to complete their own lives like the bible tells them to, not a real living human being with her own opinions. He literally says you shouldn't hang out at restaurants and have fun... Like wtf? They're religious extremists.

Ich war zweimal in meinem Leben verliebt. Beide Male hat es nicht geklappt. Ich bin seit 20Jahren verheiratet. Was habe ich falsch gemacht? Es gibt so viele verschiedene Variationen von "Liebe"... Schmetterlinge im Bauch ist eine Variante.

I dont suck at dating because I dont restrict myself with religious nonsense
@10thleperjohn763 жыл бұрын
The religious pat just gives a moral commonality. Hooking up is easy, finding that one person that pleases your body, mind and soul produces contentment. STD's are the hazzard of the hook-up life. You don't have to have religion to have a good marriage, but finding a common starting point allows 2 people a easier life path. Take if from a old guy that was a player.

try opening your mind and listen to it and ignore the religious side of it.

Young people could learn from couples married for 40, 50 or 60 years who can tell you what real dating, love and committment is all about.

I've got a completely different opinion about it. If you're looking for or dating a girl without sexual attention then it's like only having sex for getting a child reason. That is simply nature.

Interviewing an author about a book when you’ve only read one chapter is baffling to me. Feel like it would have been a more helpful conversation if they had actually read it.

It doesn't help the number of ladies are going extinct. Just morally bankrupt people, with purple half shaved heads. Lol
@rebeccastanley99203 жыл бұрын
In my circles it's the men who are extinct. Not necessarily gone leftist, but either unwilling to grow up a leave the Playstation behind or just simply nonexistent.
@boneTHUGS1113 жыл бұрын
@@rebeccastanley9920 You women need to stop trying to change men! men dont try and change you! "unwilling to grow up and leave the playstation behind" thats not growing up, playstation is a form of entertainment, like the tv, it appeals to most men because men like competition, you wouldnt be mad at your man at playing a sport or call him immature then would you!? so why say that about playstation!? You can say though that he needs to make time for you.
@rebeccastanley99203 жыл бұрын
@@boneTHUGS111 I guess my thought was more along the lines of men whose only hobby or pastime is video games. Sports are one thing because it's physical and you're out with other human beings in person. With video games, you sit and stare at a screen. It is competition, but it's arguably a different sort. I've gone on dates with guys who play video games in every spare moment, and that's pretty much all they could talk about on the date. It's not that playing one game makes you a lazy couch potato, and some girls are also gamers who would love to find a gamer guy. It's just that in my experience, the gamer guys are only interested in getting to know other gamer guys in order to expand their gamer circle, and I really don't want to find myself married to that.
