What we used to do when we wanted to start fresh was. Store all our stuff in the base and sector spawn somewhere random. Gear up and work our way home. Rinse repeat.

@@casual.wardog I've only been playing since .5 but, for me since imo they made the dumb decision to remove the vehicles instead of waiting until the replacements was actually ready to be added they've been making decisions that's got me liking the game less and less. It's still my main game of this type. I'm on PVE and have plenty of money so I just buy ammo 10 to to 25 boxes at a time and go around in the truck starting hordes in places like the B2 airport just to see how they work. Still the biggest issue for me is new puppets spawning in randomly all around me. I did just have a wolf that had went stealth in a bush attack me when I started cutting the bush with only a slight noise. Wasn't as big of a deal as the issue I've been having with antiseptic rags.

Im still learning how go to play in SP. It's petty fun but the new horde mechanic has caused me to lose my character on 2 good runs already.. this damn horde mechanics need to be reworked but aside from that I love the game. It has huge potential to be a dayz competitor

@@Puzomor .308 has been used as a sniper round for many many years. It's no .338 Lapua, but still adequate for most uses. Def shouldn't take 4 rounds to kill someone wearing light body armor.

Since 0.9.5 scum has lost me as a player. Several friends simply cannot launch the game anymore and those of us that can play are overwhelmingly plagued with game breaking bugs (items disappear, zombies appearing on top of players, zombies seeing you from a kilometer away through buildings, etc.) The game was significantly better pre 9.5 and they appear to be doing literally nothing about the issues. We're just done for now.

I dont have a base or anything , i just run around in what i have in my inventory and go looking for trouble =D kinda fun that way being solo. Also the guy had a tac rig on 4 shots seems alright to the body. Imo vest and armor needs to be looked at to give player feedback on what actual protection it gives.

About PvP and the weapons: We really need hit feedback, it is so bad that you don’t get feedback that you hit somebody or not. Ghost Recon Breakpoint has a very good PvP foundation I wish SCUM would have that. And we need replay value content !

In SCUM you get nothing and that’s weird and I don’t want to mention the broken hip fire where you 90% hit ppl without aiming.

.308 is more or less the same as 7.62x51 NATO. There are slight differences, but...anyway, to make a long explanation short, think of .308/7.62x51 as a compact version of the 7.62x54r. Same exact power, smaller package. So if the .308 is less powerful than an SVD in SCUM, then that isn't correct at all.

i had a lot of hope in Scum till i tried it, once i got the feeling of the arcade game i was out, i come from mil sim games and the fast running, low gravity kinda threw me off.... still i can see a lot of potential in the game if it only it had a slow pace and not so arcade i would be playing this everyday, for now i stay in Dayz, dayz is life but scum has way more potential, sadly its just not there for me

Quite a while back the game crashed when i had almost made it to land on the very south island in Z4. I respawned out of bounds. I was dead before I could even start the engine on the boat let alone get back in bounds. i didn't even bother looking for the body.

I've spent too much time leveling up my character. Have a few things at advanced and some at advanced plus. I'm at 4.4 4.9 5 5. My con has been taking a big hit lately no matter what I do. I've got to I'm thinking almost 87kg and have 82% muscle and 10% fat. I start over plenty of times in NMS. I like the character I've got in Scum enough not to want to start over unless forced to.

this game is too broken. It was good game till 0.8. After that it just went worse and worse...I even deleted this game from my SSD. Maybe gonna be back in future when they fix that game "soon" :D Time to play Deadside or maybe even but Arma Reforger DayZ mod

I just recently got scum barely a couple days after the update, and knowing how the spawns were before compared to now.. my immersion is broken. I play with my friends who also just got it, and in the middle of absolutely no where.. a puppet spawns and attacks us

Yea i also gave up on this game, cause of the hierarchy in my team, plus after 2600 hours i guess i dont feel like investing any more time in pushing retry to connect to a overpopulated server where you loose like an hour just to get in, and then you get fatal error and cant get in again. Despite the fact that you have contact with humans which you also get to know from the ugly sides of the people which yell, insult and gossip the next day on discord like you're the one who is inactive, or less capable playing the game, or just include and throw negative thoughts toward you cuz you had a bad day. So yes i don't wanna be a part of a team that is repulsive to a player, im not a pro, but i was a looter and i had 70% of my PVP moments successful . I will rather now do anything else beside playing Scum, and i feel the time spent on anything else more satisfying than losing my nerves on running, dying, sorting loot, looting, lockpicking, pvp, fatal error, retry on all day full servers, bugs, etc ... I just see i hit the bottom of the road with this game for multiplayer. I will try it once more when it hits full release in Singleplayer and that will be it.

I agree about the immersion part, but you are not playing the game the right way. Try starting a "war" with some squads, raid some bases. Find a squad that you can play with, that will cover you while you destroy enemy group of players at thier base. Lockpick the gates or find someone who can. This is the best time to play scum - when you have enough items to fight. After a raid, stash everything at your base and protect it the best way you can, and then do another raid. Loose everything to the bigger squad and repeat. I think you are the PvE player who doesn't like the PVP aspect of the game and if it's true, then i agree with you - change a game, because it will not be fun for you anymore.

Boring.. raiding mechanics are boring.. the game is not big because is boring.. luckily won't stay like that.. in the end the end game content won't be just the trash offline raiding.. just a few people are raiding online.. they have bigger planes for the game.. I stopped playing last year, After nearly 9 thousand hours on this game. For me it was all about playing in semi large groups and finding rivals . that's what made the game exciting. but each time you go on a big raid in a decently populated server, you face all kinds of lag/dsync. it made the game unplayable and unenjoyable.

It is unbelievable that players do not remember the Dev explanation for the reason of the puppet and other AI spawning when they made a detail outline about all of this very early in the development. Also, I told you directly what and why puppet spawns were the way the were and if you have been paying any attention to it you would notice the subtle changes and improvements. So, ONCE AGAIN, let me explain this as best as possible. AFTER MAJOR AI UPDATES the SERVER PERFORMANCE AI DIAGNOSTICS SOFTWARE has to TRACK, LOG, UPDATE, AND CORRECT the AI SPAWNING, DESPAWNING AND MOVEMENTS as a WHOLE on the ENTIRE SCUM WORD across MULTIPLE SCUM SERVERS. This process is done by AI SOFTWARE. This process can be QUICKER OR SLOWER DEPENDING ON METHOD and the END RESULT is MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY of AI SPAWNING, DESPAWNING, MOVEMENT, LOCATION, ETC and SERVER PERFORMANCE. WE HAVE OPTIONS. DEVS CHOOSE OPTION QUICK MEANING GAME AI IS SET TO SPAWN ON ASSET AND SLOWLY WORK IT WAY OUT RATHER THAN SET TO SPAWN NORMALLY AND SERVER PERFORMANCE AI DIAGNOSTICS SOFTWARE TAKING FOREVER AND A DAY TO LOCATE, TRACK, LOG, BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. If, just if, you played the game ever since the hotfix that corrected damn near instant AI respawn due to improper value set you would notice, that during the holiday break time of the Dev team and SCUM receiving no updates, that PUPPETS HAVE NOT BEEN SPAWNING INSIDE OF TREES OR SCRAP CARS OR ON ROOFS "AS MUCH" and the PUPPETS have been SPAWNING, INSIDE, of HOUSES rather than ROOFS and further away from trees, scrap cars, trash cans, other static assets all while slowly progressing towards what is normal and correct. Now understand, I am not yelling or upset. I'm simply highlighting keywords and I am also an idiot. Nevertheless, the limit range is 50m to prevent overload during this stressful and time consuming process. However, if we continue to play, day by day, week by week, we will continue to notice more and more proper spawning of the puppets which ultimately ends in roof spawns and total clipping tree spawns, for example, among other things BUT still within that 50m range. When they spawn in you, it's a guess and check. Anywho, this is being done across all servers with all data gathered and optimizations being done by a software ai automatically. once the software has reach a acceptable optimization level ranges and rates will be corrected and the system will return to what is normal but still continue to run optimization diagnostics. Due to the shitty experience we have now, we do not get to experience an even shittier experience when the ranges are much much further than 50m and AI assets start breaking the game causing crashes left and right on multiple servers this overloading the process of optimization diagnostics. Now don't quote me word for word here, as I said I'm an idiot but I hope this better explains what's happening and is noticable through patterns from the player consumer able to put the time in to recognize the subtle changes not to mention way back when before some forums were locked and Jagex came along and near misses and recoveries and this and that it was explained after removing the same puppet door/window mechanics from live by reverting within a day or two along with many other future roadmap plans including brawling reworks and BCUs. Oh, and lock picking suicide puppets. Have patience my friends and again, no disrespect intended just trying to make it very clear to eliminate misunderstanding and hopefully restore your faith in the game that you love. PS, Wardog, don't you give up either. I promise things will be normal again. As for the cheaters, they a skill issue and get scared if you just start randomly wiggling while blocking your flank LoS' cause they big smooth brain
