Yeah just finished 50s book and you will understand why he is relevant today over the likes of Ja and many artists in the same era. 50 understood that the rap game was never going to last. He is a true hustler who made amazing moves, to position himself and understood that knowledge is a powerful tool. I listened to 50 growing up in HS but as a man, I put 50 up there with MJ, Michelle and Barack Obama, and Chef Ramsey of who I want to take their knowledge and apply it to my own life.

@@ECZephon you're still living with an ignorant mind state. Big homie, little homie, 50 doesn't care about any of that. 50 is a true hustler and understand of how to evolve as a man. @@merlehawkins4907 you sound ignorant. Snitched on everybody? 🤣 Where? More often than not people snitch on themselves. Also run out of the hood? The hood isn't the place to be when you have money. Even those who were cool with you growing up, they'll feel entitled to your own work and will start looking at you with envy and jealousy if they feel like they aren't getting part of the things you worked hard for when they never put in the work in the first place. 50 has put back more money into the places he grow up with than the hood ever gave him. You sound stuck with a mentality of trying to look instead of understanding how to make moves and have something for your own life, family and being able to give back to the community. 50 is a person you can look up to as someone who was able to evolve himself, without ever forgetting his root. 50 is a lot smarter than people assume, he is able to learn from his mistakes, others mistakes and actually listen to wisdom. I suggest you do the same than holding into a street code that hasn't done much for your life. You don't have who you are or your root but maybe start learning from others on how to achieve success to get out in the world than being stuck of where you are.
@blowc1612 Жыл бұрын
@@merlehawkins4907 you really think the FBI didn't already have that information? 🤣 There are a lot of actual snitches in the stretch who will give up information for a little piece. Heck some of them will talk to save themselves. The feds doesn't need 50 to talk, they have informants in the streets and people snitching on themselves. The feds have tapes of MLK admitting to his adultery, you think they can't get information about low level street dudes who aren't bigger than the block they claim. If the feds can take them bigger gangsters with bigger leverage, they can easily get information from local street gangs. They feds eventually was able to take down Escobar who had a whole country and had more money than fortune 500 companies. The US government has more control of the criminal world operates than you think. They don't need to get information from a rappers album. They were able to get information before cell phones, existed, today you have people themselves snitching on themselves. The feds doesn't care about small time crooks.

just like he had a problem with jada and joe. something but music
@williamwolfxrivera9929 Жыл бұрын
50 had a problem with Joe and Jada due to the fact that they was featured on A Ja Rule track (New York) where Ja Dissed 50, to 50 it seems like Jada and Joe was supporting Ja in the beef and as we later found out that the two was unaware Ja was dissing him So it was a case of a misunderstanding which eventually had been squished

I grew up in the 80s and 90s right across the street from the Coliseum Mall. Use to trade Nintendo games with Prince's son. My mother was good friends with Supreme's sister. I knew or seen most of these guys mentioned here on a regular basis. I was a kid back then, so I definitely didn't run with them. It's just crazy how close I was to all of this, and barely knew what was going on. The streets would always talk, but everybody had their own versions of stories.
