Played since day one. After whaling from my previous game I decided that this time I will limut myself to minimal use of cash. I have been enjoying it as the goals that I set took a longer time to finish. It makes the reaching those worthwhile.

I am also the first one who played this game since they released it in SEA server, yeah' there is a lot of players in all corners in any maps, but after a few months some of them are gone, until i also get tired and bored after more than 1 year, i came back . and try to feel that i feel in the first opening of the game. until now im playing it, and some of the old players who quit in a long time comming back to play this game again (eternal server).. i know beacuse you can i dentify them in there old set. i hoped you will come back to play this game again.

I still think this game is peak mmo for mobile during its release and its early days, 1 server multiple channels and you meet alot of people through guilds. Compared to other games that has like 20servers xD I had alot of fun but yeah it's a game so once you get bored, there's nothing to do but quit and move on.

Ive been playing for few years now and I am still enjoying it. It's not about being the strongest. I'ts about the friendship that was built that matters the most. If you quit just because you feel you can't compete with the whales, for me that reason is just naaaah. I think reasons why others get bored are when they are too focused on being the strongest yet they fail to do so, they end up being disappointed and frustrated. Others, they are so strong already and they are not finding any challenges in the game itself. Either of the two, there are still things that you can do to find joy in playing, like joining a fun guild who have diff in game gimmicks or helping out other players whos having a hard time clearinh difficult instances. I mean there's a lot of things you can do. I dunno. Maybe it's just me. Haha. But good luck on your new game! More powers.

that is definitely you, why because when you said its all about friendship you are half right and half wrong because i to an OG player and still playing right now very very casual to the point that i only log-in for a few minutes a day just to see what new but after that go back to pc gaming, and the reason i dont play that much anymore is because one all of my guild member are not playing anymore and me although just a guild member before i dont know when my guildmaster transfer the leadership to me so yeah im the only one playing in my guild so the friendship you mentioned sorry that doesnt really matter anymore, yes a could just leave for the other guild but like i said im with this guild since the release so i can't just abandoned it. second the p2w aspect and the bs limited combat time per day and no trading for real in online game?

Well, the why the moment u play this game or any other same genre, u either go solo or in team. Coz for the guild, it'll be lucky if u found or be in a gud one (active etc). I might dun have any luck with guild member but the friends who with me since I started play this game still play together with I really grateful 😁

Yes, it becomes very common that several games of this style, mmorpg, reach the "high" point for the characters, like this in the base game, so later in the other updates they add content with more difficulty, where it is required to be p2w to continue overcoming those challenges (although there also comes a point where one reaches the maximum and has no choice but to wait for an update, because he has nothing else to continue, just continue farming or start with a new character)

well this video just came crossed my timeline. i feel u bro i joined the this game back to early 2021 after i saw one influencer from other platform made content about this ragnarok. well since that i decided to play because it's like this game i thought was bringing back memories to the ragnarok pc version i used to play when i was a kid. i got to know each day about this game and stuff.. i started spend my time from one hour playing to almost like 24/7. and i was like idk maybe addict to it because some friends in real life as well play this game. even tho there was time i once met with new people whom i got to know from here. that's one amazing that ever happened. but recently i decided to quit this game because things start to get bored. like what u said same stuff weekly, war etc. and two of my closest friends as well retired. that made me more bold and decide to retire. try to catch sup with whale is not the thing for me and never tho. i only spent less tho. there was also bad times like in this game peep are complete different as i knew ragnarok is no new thing, the players also mostly are adult and older. long short story the drama u know. and i was like sheesh this is only online game but to me it seems peeps takes things too much further than what this game actually is. there were also good days and many more for the community. but hey at the end of the day i decided to quit..

Your character can't be strong if you will not spend for getting gacha for 1% deposits haha. I'm playing this game for past time, I always joining weeklies runs because I'm weak. My current problem with the game is that .. there is no incentive for me to hunt minis/mvp anymore because the a.e kinda ruined the economy.. now you only farm for cards which are getting more and more expensive everyday. New cratfable equipments needs to be introduced that has better stats or at least +dmg to certain class skill and maybe add the + enchantment of a.e .

Yep. There is no way for new players to catch up the veteran players' progress. Even if you whale a lot, it's just going to waste of money, since buying maxed mature account is actually much cheaper than building from scratch. In result, very slow or none regeneration of new players, which is kinda slowly killing the game IMO.

Coming in super late homie, I just rejoined and almost immediately removed the game from my phone. It's so far from what launch was, it's disgusting. It's always been a money pit, but the fact that they have doubled down on their predetory practices as the game slowly dies absolutely disgusts me. World chat is dead, besides bots spamming store advertisements, and the guild content is basically being forced into a role for PVP content. Very sad.

I actually just quit all the other Gatcha games ive been playing after realizing that I can take that 800$ a week and put it literally anywhere else, and feel more satisfied. I can't count the times I've dropped 500+ only to be disappointed. Most recent was One punch Road 2.0 where I spent 1k on one character only to be told it will take another 1k to fully ascend him.

P2w system will never work when it will involves another player. That is why this game becomes shit. Meanwhile on Genshin p2w works because your whaling doesn't affects other players at all. This is why mmo is dead. P2W is definitely the best way for game developers to make money but at the same time, p2w doesn't works in mmo as it will eventually kills the game. That is just the sad reality for mmo lovers out there, the genre is dead.

I'm surprised you play this game way longer than others who quit earlier because the quitting reason is so generic. So I just think you can instead state why you can play that long compared to other content creators... For real, people who still play still game is actually the opposite way of your thoughts. F2P or whales, we are just too lazy or lost interest to try other games out there anymore. ROM is like last game in my life to do and the question is either when the game will be closed or how far I'm gonna bored. While I'm not fully F2P, my spending are not so much (even if I get more salary or someone give me prize) and never touch any form of gacha by money (tickets only), so the character's growth is really mid tier and still a lot to buy with zeny. I'm not bored yet despite the repetitive stuff with that condition. The devs will even let F2P to get and level up Purple Relics too in their future updates... That just a waste if you don't plan to sell your account lol. Even me and casual players will buy Eddga card, Mounts, and all sellables stuff (can sell the zeny from them) if the account will be buried...

my DA has a 32% depo but I can still kill the whales that are non DA, PVP is definitely difficult if you are fighting whales but with decent equips and enough practice, you can still defeat them. One of the top SH in sea is f2p, you can still play dps without paying.
