I have a suggestion for you guys and I'm sorry if this sounds ridiculous but you guys are racing for a lot of money. Would it be too crazy to pull both cars out of the hauler when you showed up to these practice nights on these big shows and practice both cars. Then choose one for the race instead of wasting Friday night to figure out heck we should go to the back up. Set both cars up with different set ups practice them both and make a choice then. Seems like a heck of an idea. Would it be a lot of work? Yes but this is how we make our money. Might be something to think about.

Dirt is very different for night to night. Reason why top guys are good all the time is because their note books are full of good notes with set ups and the driver and crew chief have good communication and understanding each other.

I'm not really talking about Eldora because it is alot wonky lol. #circus . But I was mainly speaking on when they show up on the hunt the front series on a Thursday night to practice for a Friday/Saturday night show pull both cars and practice them both I bet you could learn a ton and they would definitely get a feel for what Joe Joe is comfortable in. Running for 20k to 30k a night like I said before will it be alot of work yes but I bet the benefits outweigh the negatives . Unless Joe Joe puts them both into the wall but I got faith in my guy he is a hell of a driver.

when i speculated on potential winners,and,unlike the other series up north, there were MANY!, Daulton Cook was not on my radar. I LOVE IT when that happens and now he IS and will continue to be. He certainly seems like a humble,likeable guy, he drove a SWEET race, a hearty congrats to Mr. Cook. Im a northerner who, right now, looks foward to THIS series over the others. Where were the Tennessee based teams? My fantasy involves HTF north and HTF south divisions where there are races along the way where the payout is big enough to bring both sides together and the south puts it all together. A doable fantasy i believe

To the person who said they shouldn’t run eldora cause they don’t stand a chance. I beg to differ with you. They are more than capable of running and winning eldora. If I’m not mistaken tmac won it one year with one car a fully truck and goose neck trailer. People don’t believe in the under dog teams can run with the big dogs. I have been watching all of your videos on here and I realize something. When Joseph play with the throttle, He doesn't run very good but when he puts the hammer down. He really takes off. He need to figure out why he has to play with the throttle. Watch some of the video and listen to the motor and the way it sounds. You can tell.

It's most likely gonna be suspension setup and tire compound. That and what power plant and restrictor plate if any. It's all coming down to traction. This time they were using one of their more mild super engines, a more restrictive plate, and I'd guess the harder tire compound. Less HP out of the engine, shocks set right and other stuff at the corners settled good, and more traction as the tires heat and the track rubbers up means he can hammer down. Just only with that setup on those particular track conditions. If a driver is working the throttle it's because he's looking for traction to hook up. Dirt track racing there are so many variables just saying he should hammer down all the time isn't actually good advice. A track can change drastically between hot laps, qualifying, heat race, B main, and A main/feature. You'll notice that they are relatively vague about setup changes as the night goes. That's because every dirt track racer has secrets to the setups. Especially at tracks they know well. At Southern Raceway in Milton you won't hear anything about their setup since Joseph has the track record (or maybe Bo has it by a little I'll have to check). He's not gonna tell the KZbin audience and by extension all his competitors what he is doing to setup the car to make it fast. Just going fast in a dirt circle is harder than it sounds even with years of experience and good hardware.
