Even if we look at this peak in 380's they weren't strong, size was around 30k(maybe less I'm guessing based on map) square km, army around 8000 but that all in unstable country where they were minority. The peak period after Peloponnesian War happened because Persia carried them by support so they could beat Athen's navy. Even when they were "the strongest" it did't last long. Economy was weak, population small, terror existed in politics overall they sucked. Sparta was strong like North Korea now

I hope the tournament is cut short, but I feel the matchups will end up happening anyway as part of the narrative. Plus, it would allow Zeus to really shine. He was only using brute strength to fight Adam on his level, in a bare knuckle fight. He also has plenty of motivation to avenge his brothers, which might result in him fighting both his brothers killers at once. I totally see him priotising a petty need over stopping Odin.

The fact is the matter is technically zeus is the only one to defeat a primordial God in chronos which made/makes him king of the gods not just the Greek pantheon, Odin by story and lore has always been a selfish and envious god inspiring war to gain power. Odin wants to kill or at least fight Archae to become the king of everything defeating the god of creation. Which would be an interesting twist because that would essentially make Odin the final villain of all because he could try to manipulate humanity and the gods to fight for him which would also serve as the cultural story of ragnarok. Or Zeus leading the humans and gods against Odin after he defeats archae somehow. Ending with the gods sparing humanity because they assisted in defeating the true traitor of the universe.
