The intro was 90% of the song and creates such a tension and anticipation and when the storytelling in the verses is just so satisfying

Motown really was cooking in the day. The house band for all those different groups and singers; temptations, four tops, marvin gaye, vandells, supremes all with the same band and same writers absolutely changed popular music forever ❤

This man is so talented and creative. He has some very expressive eyes. I love the characters that he portrays. Just talented. Keep doin' what you're doing. You've got the "it" factor. More power to you.

Loved black music from the 60's & 70's, northern soul, motown, reggae, jazz, blues.. wonderful.. music. Then it all went downhill from the mid-80's, into hip hop rubbish. I pray black music makes a ressurgence.
@easol3 ай бұрын
Jeez, there are plenty if artist who make the music you want, search up underground artists. There is also something called neo soul ya know.
@nottingtohide3 ай бұрын
@@easol Thanks. Yes, there is still great underground music. I was referring to popular music. There was a revival in 1990's with great bands like 'Massive Attack.'

Personally i love when songs have long instrumental intros.. love how it builds, with a new instrument introduced at each measure

Such a different age. The 4 minute songs weren’t a thing. 10 musicians jamming for 18 minutes or more
@calliecalliej.64316 ай бұрын
It gives you something to anticipate and while you anticipate the singing coming up, you can enjoy some really awesome instrumentals. Love stuff like that!

Oh gosh..not when listening to middle eastern music. There's something called 'Mawwal' which is a non-instrumental intro to lebanese old songs that could easily drag on for a 5 darn minutes before the music kicks in!😅

I know it was a long intro, but it made it so much more. The layering of each element was genus. You was groovin before any lyrics even hit your brain.

Bro I've seen so many skits of people playing multiple characters etc but this is some top tier acting, not to mention all the other things that go into making this. Extremely well done and won't be surprised to see you on TV shows in future.
