The Recyclad3D Project

The Recyclad3D project proposes a central Recycling & 3D Printing hub in Hermoupolis, Syros island of Cyclades, where the whole procedure of how plastic waste turns into new objects is visible to people and enables them participate in the procedure. Recyclad3D is the first initiative to actually bring the recycling process close to the people by making it simple, safe and efficient. The recycled material is mainly PET from water bottles which are largely consumed daily due to the island's lack of potable water.
Locals, Students, Entrepreneurs are engaged to bring us their consumed bottles and receive 3D printed products for free, thus creating an exchange value between Bottles & Products.
