The Red Arrows in Bournemouth

A slide show of images taken with my Nikon D100 on a sunny August day in 2004. The background music is actually the theme of the London Marathon, with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, led by Jack Maguire & conducted by Carl Davis. The horizons & cropping could have been better, but it was a first attempt! I hope you enjoy the show.

I hate to take issue with anyone but this uplifting music was actually written by Ron Goodwin for a film called The Trap starring Oliver Reed and Rita Tushingham (A good film if you ever get the chance to watch it)I love the red Arrows,my father in law was in the RAF and has asked to have this piece played at his funeral.thanks for posting it.

Ah, The TRap, also known as the theme music to the BBC's coverage of the London Marathon. Takes me back to 2005 and 2007 when I competed in this great race.

What is it about this music that always makes me tear up.?I thought it was when watching the marathon you see people triumphing but no.... I'm off again and now it's the Red Arrows....where's the tissues...
