Ok I know it is a song about him but why now I’m on the verge of tears from this scene alone

A truly touching scene. well done. it kinda made you feel for her when she looked up at the sky, as if to maybe see him soaring above. and the music score is beautifully done as well.

I don't particularly like the film, as I wanted to see the Red Baron die in a way to avenge his enemies before this. This would be the better choice, with this being the end of the movie
@jeffreymorrow3403 Жыл бұрын
I think it’s because the way he died is a controversial issue. I guess an Australian machine gunner killed him not Roy brown. I wonder if he really met Roy brown before the end or was that part of the movie?

I knew his story while I was 12 when I used to spend my time in the school library. Undoubtedly he remains one of the greatest pilots in history. RIP ❤

For the 80 British, French and other Allied pilots he slew, the Red Baron 's death was pretty underwhelming, but I truthfully must say that they were at peace that day. 21st April 1918.

What about the 100 Germans they slew? He was famous for a reason. Not necessarily for his "score", a lot less people know about Erich Hartmann, the best ace of WW2 with over 300 aerial victories. Von Richthofen was a gentleman, sportsman, man of honor and principle, he wouldn't have been respected by his enemies if he wasn't.

Look up Werner Voss he wend down like a Boss in comparison but Richthofen wasn't only famous for his 80 victorys
@grumpyoldsodinacellar40652 жыл бұрын
Richthofen has had so many armchair critics this past century or so, amongst them, claims that his kills were mainly the wretched BE2C, an aeroplane that could barely fly let alone fight, it was an artillery spotter, Richthofen's job was to protect the army by denying the enemy "eye's in the air". RICHTHOFEN WAS MERELY DOING HIS JOB.
