10:39 When i was a kid, I must confess, when Smokey the Bear came on TV as an animated creature & said with that James Earl Jones/Darth Vader grave voice Only You can prevent Forest Fires, it scared the hell out of me . Maybe worse than a Twilight Zone episode.

Great effort and thank you for fixing the Audio sync, I love this show, we never saw it in Australia.

Correct me if wrong , but this seems about the time the Red Green show became better with its script writing and acting .
@jamesm66385 жыл бұрын
To me, it just happened over time, getting a little better with each episode from the first right up to the last

It seems like it took a dramatic turn for the better between seasons 2 and 3 and then again between 3 and 4.

It was over time and a change of actors to focus on quicker segments, more fun, less storylines, and fast commentary. They had all of the pieces in place but needed to meld it more
@HolyKhaaaaan Жыл бұрын
From 1996 to 1999 I would say was the Golden Age. Had the most segments, the most original plots, recycled a lot less stuff, got a lot of character development. Towards the end, 2004 and 2005, it was kinda getting samey. Same routines, same format every time. Earlier Red Green experimented, and I liked that. I will say the gay jokes were handled masterfully until the end. Always about getting a laugh, never a rise. It's peak comedy, in the purest sense.

😂 Aww Plymouth K car Reliant. It was a super cheap car very common in the 80s. I actually ran into one crossing the road as a kid and dented it with my body! Very cheap car 😅 The junk yard that supplied the Red Green show with junked cars had a lot of them so they got used a lot in stunts and handyman corner

Smokey Bear. That is his name. Last name Bear, first name Smokey. Smokey Bear. Not Smokey THE bear. Common misconception. Like Roger Rabbit... not Roger the Rabbit. Kinda late to nit pick now, I guess. Ah well.
