This show started out good and as the seasons went on it got great! Took about 100 shows before it went super duper. At the end it used Winston Rothschild too much. Best secondary character (besides Harold) was Mike Hamar....wonderful character. Hap Shawnasee (sp?) was also a great character (played better than the previous know it all, do it all earlier in the series). Never much enjoyed Adventures with Bill as I don't care much for all out slapstick humor. But this is likely Canada's best production t.v. series ever made.Thank you Canada!

Coleman Adamson Winston got used so much because the other guys they created after him weren’t as good and others were busy, wanted too much money, or weren’t funny...Hap got played out, Ed Frid was a one-trick pony, Buzz was overused by then(no plane, no reason for being at the lodge), and Edgar’s actor was too busy. So Winston got used more often...

Funny part is Harold Saying about him being one of the scarry lawyers on Traders, Patrick McKenna was on Traders the tv show while the Red Green Show and Traders were both on the air until 2001. Just that the USA never got the TV show Traders, so most in USA do not know Patrick McKenna was on both shows at the same time.

Harold has a series of accidents, first involving Junior accidentally giving him whip blash after running into the back of possum van, the second involving Bill accidentally hitting him in the head with a glider plane, the third involving Buster accidentally breaking his right arm after knocking him off his bicycle with his car, the fourth involving Dalton accidentally spilling hot coffee causing him to slip and fall now breaking his left arm, the fifth involving Winston moving the septic truck which accidentally causing him to fall down a septic hole now breaking his left leg, the sixth involving Stinky for blowing up his butt, the seventh involving Moose for giving him food poisoning with a hamburger, the eighth involving Old man Sedgwick giving him dental problems, the ninth involving Red for reckless endangerment to him with fish and sports causing a hole in his right knee, and the tenth involving a series of lawsuits.
