This show never gets old. The rewatch value is unparalleled. And all without swearing, being overly violent, malicious and mean. It takes insane talent to not only be hilarious, but also keep it clean. This show has everything. Visual humor, slapstick, clever wordplay, music, and satire. There's a reason the Red Green show was the first entertainment DVD in space.

Even if it had, the compressor needs to have accurate control of the frequency, since the motor uses phase shift capacitors for both start and run. His 30:418 turn ration wound give 175 volts with 12.6 volts in. With the engine running, it would be 14.4 volts in, to 200 Volts out. Also, low frequency transformers are built on layers of E and I pieces instead of a solid core. The windings are also 90 degrees off. They have to go through the center hole and around the outside. That is how Torroid transformers work. It is possible to use a center tapped primary and something to interrupt the current from one side, to the other at the right frequency. Vibrators did this mechanically, but when done with transistors it becomes an inverter.
