@@CJODell12 a very good choice, there is a finite amount of jokes and funny thing to says before it can stale or get repeatitive. It's easier to stop while everyone had a very good time, than ruin the show with a bad ending. on top of the social media becoming more and more critical about what jokes you can tell or not. A lot of Red Green episodes wouldn't pass anymore in today generation. @@ChanceSarsis I politely disagree with you Sebastian. If you have a good thing going then continue. True things get stale after a while then take a break for a year or two. It must be difficult coming up with new ideas week in and week out. That's when you need a break. Live life for a while and funny things or ideas have a way of cropping up if you know where to look for them. That's where the comedic mind comes in. They can see what's funny. Just like songwriters see things in a different light then go out and perform in public. Think of Gordon Lightfoot, Stompin' Tom, Steve Smith is right up there. People can even write in with suggestions for jokes or skits. Red Green is something uniquely Canadian that we can embrace as ours. We identify with just about all that's in the show. Each character is uniquely Canuk. Most Americans probably don't catch on. So Steve, if your reading this, we're pullin' for ya. Keep your head up & stick on the ice. Mac in Mtl. So it's probably not too surprising that a Route 66 was in Saddam's den, but that they liked and actually got Red's humor is amazing. On the other hand so many foreign elites attend University in Canada/USA that it would be natural for them to absorb the culture. He did a few episodes on Star Gate SG1 as the brilliant but accident prone scientist, Jay.

I throw Red in with comedians like Laurel and Hardy, Chaplin, Rodney Dangerfield , Andy Kaufman, Robin Williams, John Belushi , Chris Farley Norm Macdonald, those that did their good work and knew when to die.

I really hope you come back to London Ontario soon. My dad and I watched your show all the time. His last time going out was to see you live and he had to leave before he could meet you. My sister and I waited and you were so kind and sweet! I have my dad in my necklace and Id love to take him to one last show ❤

I think he did, but he wasn't sure which year it was. Nor did he really care as long as it didn't cause him any loss of his concern. So really, most of Possum lodge must of had a great year being apart from people.

@@DawsonFord There's always something. The World Trade Center buildings in NYC were destroyed in September. That did not have positive effects on life in the USA. I'm glad all was good wherever you were.
