@@CJODell12 a very good choice, there is a finite amount of jokes and funny thing to says before it can stale or get repeatitive. It's easier to stop while everyone had a very good time, than ruin the show with a bad ending. on top of the social media becoming more and more critical about what jokes you can tell or not. A lot of Red Green episodes wouldn't pass anymore in today generation. Similar to The Naked Gun with Leslie Nielsen that would cause extreme controversy in today time. and sorry for the one year late reply, i am rewatching all of them and today was this episode x)

@@ChanceSarsis I politely disagree with you Sebastian. If you have a good thing going then continue. True things get stale after a while then take a break for a year or two. It must be difficult coming up with new ideas week in and week out. That's when you need a break. Live life for a while and funny things or ideas have a way of cropping up if you know where to look for them. That's where the comedic mind comes in. They can see what's funny. Just like songwriters see things in a different light then go out and perform in public. Think of Gordon Lightfoot, Stompin' Tom, Steve Smith is right up there. People can even write in with suggestions for jokes or skits. Red Green is something uniquely Canadian that we can embrace as ours. We identify with just about all that's in the show. Each character is uniquely Canuk. Most Americans probably don't catch on. So Steve, if your reading this, we're pullin' for ya. Keep your head up & stick on the ice. Mac in Mtl. @@anniemcewen9049 Hi Annie, American and Canadian TV shows are shown all over the world and not just the English speaking world. So it's probably not too surprising that a Route 66 was in Saddam's den, but that they liked and actually got Red's humor is amazing. On the other hand so many foreign elites attend University in Canada/USA that it would be natural for them to absorb the culture. Still, I agree, Red would probably get a kick out of knowing the Iraqi prez or people in his family were his fans.

I miss this show so much!🤗💜 I used to watch this with my grandparents or my mom and step dad. Sadly my papaw and my step dad are both no longer with us. Great memories ❤️💜

I live in Georgia USA. 21 years ago my dad and me went to Alberta to visit some life long friends and do a little hunting with them. Every evening after dinner this was their " shut up, our show is coming on". I can't believe I'm sitting here watching this again. Thanks KZbin. I'll have to stop by and show dad this and see if he remembers!

I remember watching this show on PBS all those years ago, and here I’m watching it now in 2023, and it is still funny! And the show doesn’t seemed dated at all. Could have been made yesterday.

It's been, what, 20 to 30.years since I used to watch this show every week. I had actually forgotten about it. Then, thank the Lord, I stumbled upon it on KZbin. Now I can watch it every night! Oh, there goes my IQ.

I miss the show since it was dropped from the NPR Riverside County lineup. Now that the internet is expanding, mayne reruns are findable. Still loyal to the Possom Lodge. All stand for the pledge. "I Am a man, But I can change, If I have to, I guess." 😁👍

I love this show! I have watched it for years! Strangely each time I watch it, I want to drink a beer? And I never drink hardly ever, except holidays, fancy dinners, and birthdays! Huh? Weird? Feels warm and fuzzy for me, reminds me of my grandpa or dad trying to fix things around the house using duct tape, hanging junk off the ceiling of the garage?!! And hammering things, taking things apart....until it gets fixed properly! This is like how I grew up! That's it! D : ) Funny!

My son is in his 30’s now. I introduced him to this in his 20’s, I’ve only seen him laugh this hard to the Little Rascals when he was a Kid. I tried to get my hands on a copy of Duct Tape Forever through a Friend in Nova Scotia & she could not find a copy, but I did have luck through an old contact who had worked in film Archives. We loved it!
