That tail pipe soup dispenser has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever seen . after watching over 40 episodes of this I am thoroughly convinced this show kills brain cells.and I'm lovin every second of it .... haha !

in 'Broken water pump' he pulls the engine out of the car showing how to change the oil. And in 'The fish locator' he pulls the transmission off to show how to repair that.

Ah, so it's the 1992 season where you see these guys. I was watching newer episodes recently and started thinking I was crazy because I swore there was a cop named Noel on the show. I hadn't seen this stuff since I was ten or something, when we watched reruns on Showcase. Then one day we lost Showcase since we only had basic cable and that cut off the Red Green addiction... until now! No, I have no idea why/how we didn't keep up with the new episodes... my mom probably had something to watch whenever they aired. Man, she hated this show! Half the fun was watching her reaction when we turned it on.

Yeah the 1991 to 1992 season. The 1990-1991 season I am not sure but was more like the New Red Green Show that became the Red Green show in 1998-1999 season. Unfortunately I do not Remeber the 1991 to 1992 season being on USA PBS but the 1990-1991 season did air as did on night the original pilot and the pre-Red Green show a set of 6, 15 minute episodes that had Red In a old Chevy Truck or old Ford F150. I do remeber seeing the show in 1994-1995 as that is when it started on TV on PBS in most of the USA. the Final 2005 season was not aired until 2007-2008 due to the USA writers block somehow playing a part in this and why PBS for all of 2009 had to use old stuff including the TV show

That is true, I have seen those as Menard's sold them before the really cheap years and they would not die. Same of the old Honda Push lawnmowers unless you ran the engine too long without oil but that had to be a long time.

I get the impression that Harold is some kind of Christian puritan, which is one of the reasons why he's so bizarre. Also, due to the 'Pagan scare' propaganda during the '80s and '90s, it made a lot of credulous buffoons paranoid with moral panic over nothing.

It's easy to see why the show was cancelled by CHCH after this season. It wasn't that good. Luckily it got another chance with Global and CBC and it got much better
