Wait was this stated anywhere officially? I was thinking that if it was just to stop penis mode the turret should be able to spin at least 300/360 degrees, but it seems to be far less than that. The stopping point on both sides don't even seem to be the same, implying it's for a different purpose. But yeah if it is actually to stop penis mode then that's actually dumb, stop wasting the parts count on arbitrary restrictions and let people do what they want with their toys

I definitely want this Galvatron. While i like the Armada design, i never liked his Megatron deco. But as Galvatron, i absolute love it. I only got the orginal Armada model since it was in Galvatron colors, and i made a 3D model of this design only in these colors. Im really excited for this release.

I used to be salty about the Legacy Armada Megatron’s shoulders not being able to rotate, especially when the original Armada toy could do it. It seemed inexcusable when n this day and age of engineering. However, I totally forgot that he didn’t rotate his shoulders in the anime for the most part, which really changes my opinion on this mould. It’s a small thing, but even subtle animation accuracy matters to me. His poses are _supposed_ to be clunky looking with those big awkward shoulders. lol

I got my copy last week. It has loose joints, so I tightened them up a bit. But 8 heard that copies from Amazon are having the loose issue, where as copies from BBTS are tight.

@@yeth797 Well, it depends on how comfortable you are with taking your figure apart. You almost have to completely dismantle your figure, and any joints that swivel and what not can be thickened with either floor polish, clear nail polish, small strips of tape or paper, or a light layer of glue. Either way, it is a bit of work. I went to tape route, as I didn't have any polish of any sort, and I had no glue on hand. But be wary of how much you apply. I made mine a bit tighter than I had expected, so it can hold up the joints with the Tidalwave parts on him.

I never quite liked the megatron design in armada untill i saw this deco. I love the colors, especially the purple (i painted my walls the exact shade just yesterday lol). My copy came in slightly loose but other than that it's amazing. Still wish there were some more accessories tho

I used to flip the cannon part back too to transform the bottom half but then I realized that you can just pull the entire bottom half downward to get the clearance making it more enjoyable to transform. Also, my copy of the original Legacy release has a 90 degree knee bend. I don't know why yours doesn't.

Not owning either at the moment, while I'm more partial too the original green Megatron, the alternate face mold is a real selling point here. Might go with Galvatron as he'll be a lot easier to get at the moment, and more than likely see a discount over the original soon. Those shoulders really needed a locking point at this price point. Love how much larger he is than Blitzwing as a tank.

I popped the head off on Megatron and cut the black rim on the back of the head. For some reason that one section was unpainted but it made for an easy to cut the offending plastic off. He can look way up now.

Bro, I've had great luck fixing misalignments like that with a heat gun. Get all the bits that need to stretch good and toasty, pop him into alt mode and hold it. My mpm-12 had a similar issue that wouldn't even tab, now it's like buttah

I'm considering this guy, AFAIK the Sam's Forge kit is no longer available, but if it comes back then I'll be more likely to get him (I'm not particularly worried about Tidal Wave compatibility since I can't afford or store Tidal Wave anyway, so the Dark Fleet backback compatibility isn't relevant to me). I like Megatron well enough, and I just got Super Mode Starscream, so they'd go great together. Also I'm fairly sure the turret rotation is hindered so you can't put the cannon barrel between his legs or in front of his crotch.

This Galvatron looks so cool. I already have Legacy Armada Megatron so there's literally 0 reason for me to get him but I just kinda wished he came with an accessory of some kind. The turret is cool but why not add a handheld gun or a sword. This is coming from someone who hates the idea of minicons and even i think he should've had one.

The dynamic posing is essential moreso for the good guys. However for baddies, especially the big ones, need to look hench and this guys pulls it off just standing there.

Uhhhh no. I’m so tired of using the “not a dynamic character” excuse. If I want soundwave to be able to kick over his head he should be able too. If I want shockwave to bring his knees to his chest for a huge stomp he should be able too. Thats such a copium filled excuse and exactly the reason we keep getting toys like this scourge and blitzwing. As engineering progresses, then all characters should also see improvements in articulation. If I want astrotrain to look as dynamic as bumblebee I should be able too. No excuses

@aidenbolte8354 I'm not say that the Decepticons arent able to have dynamic poses, they are and some pull off the craziest shit in people's displays. Just saying that as much as a dynamic pose would look good for one, the Hench and menacing look; towering over other figures in the set up is just as important. Just commenting on how this figure would look good as a decent heavy in a lineup, not trying to shift goal posts or cope. Since writing this, I acquired him and yeah, looks good as just a static obolisk looking down on the rest, as well in dynamic firing poses.👍

He's a rePAINT. A redeco is when you change the stickers decorating the figure (or the paint only on TOP of the pastic). A rePAINT is when you change the paint dye in the pastic itselfs. Armada "Galvatron" is a repaint.

Hard disagree on the colors, UT Galvatron is and always has been the worst colored version of all 3 of his designs to me. Armada and Cybertron have far too much white, and the lilac and maroon accents make him look like a fruity ice cream.
