You don't really have the full story about kevin and nico hulkenberg... In the beginning of the race kevin was positioned behind grosjean and he saw nico hulkenberg drive grosjean out of the track in the first corner. Kevin said over the radio something like "if you can do what nico hulkenberg did to romain grosjean then it's gonna be a dirty race." .. You can call it retaliation but it didn't come out of nowhere.. I totally get why kevin said what he said. Nico coming up during a interview is rude first of all, second is what he said to kevin, so disrespectful. I get why kevin didn't wan't to take any bs from the hulk at that point. Nico was just butthurt because he got a taste of his own medicine.

He's his own driver and man having a kid has given him a hint of his Dad about him. We get to see a bit of Jan's smile in KMag this time around. Before his Haas return, the racing and career was the most important thing in his life, now he has a family. Context and perspective - we know these drivers from such a young age these days, that we're following their 'special aging process' and seeing how they become the finished product that in the past, was the only one we saw. Not to say the rest weren't there, but in our own youth we may have been more focussed ourselves on the glorious fight for the top more than the 'also rans'..

No bullshit clickbait tittle? "from zero to hero" that's the definition of a clickbait tittle. And inaccurate like the rest of the video. Magnussen got a podium in his debut race, and he hasn't had one since. So more like "from hero to zero".. Or the actual tittle and not thumbnail is just as dumb. Just to get clicks and views. Facts and context are missing from this video. it's really bad.

I think it´s a good video, but when you talk about what other drivers complain about I think its too much on the complainers side. Kevin is not one that complains much, so you don´t get his version of the story. Remember the drivers are all competitors and many of them complain to get people to choose their version or get sympathy. But there are always two sides of a story. But all in all is a good video. I just hope you can see my point too

k-mag deserves are better team than haas. mclaren cheated him and blamed the drivers of their bad performance when it was clearly the car. It was a blessing in disguise to get away from that shitty team. Go watch kevin best starts in an gp.. one of the best starters on the grid. Look at mclaren now, they throw daniel on the street, tbh they don't value their drivers at all. dumbest team on the grid. norris and daniel is a great match, daniel with the experince at lando with the young fresh thinking.
@optiodecimus2690

I couldn't agree more about how McLaren treats their drivers. They've been throwing out young talent before it even gets a chance to develop way longer than Red Bull. Heikki Kovahlinen - Genuinely talented driver but thrown in the hot seat way too fast to stand any real chance. Stoffel Vandoorne - another genuine talent, but never got the support he needed in that second car. Kevin Magnussen is the one that hurts the most, because he's still around on the grid in a race seat today. He's clearly developed as a driver all on his own, no giving up and disappearing or settling for a reserve seat - he's never stuck his nose up at any team or car because he thinks they're beneath him and he's always raced for any position like it was the top step on a podium. You look at some of the lads in the top teams now - Max and Lewis can be great guys when everything goes right, but on the bad days the entitlement shows through, or LeClerc who seems to be the complete opposite and had let Ferrari ruin many a strategy without argument and just think what a someone like Magnussen could be like up there - a guy who's experienced some of the worst cars and outcomes, but still puts everything into any drive.

But yes, McLaren doesn't treat their young ones well, mostly during the Ron Dennis era though
@optiodecimus2690
@optiodecimus2690 2 жыл бұрын
@@RaianF1 Indeed - they've really turned a page with Norris, mind. But I suppose that's easier to do when the driver is good out of the box. Ricciardo has been an expensive mistake and I can't really blame them for wanting rid of him at this point, but you can't deny he's also been given more than a fair chance to improve also.
@NulJern

Don't agree with much in this video. Try watching the actual races that you refer to. In f1 it's not as simple. All drivers complain about other driver, some more than other. Just look at Verstappen, the dirtiest driver on the grid, his overtakes are the worst and almost never clean unless he has major speed advantage.

@@RaianF1 you should watch them again then. Cause you are not telling the full story about it. Liking to think you know what you are talking about is not same as actually knowing what you are talking about. Of course you can learn by researching but that you clearly havn't done either. I don't know what the hell your motivation is but to me it seems you only made this video for views and not really care about the fact in the stories.

@@NulJern oh wow looks like I triggered you, and badly. Sorry about that 😬
@NulJern
@NulJern 2 жыл бұрын
@@RaianF1 i am either triggered or not. And yeah you are not the only one getting this, so many bad videos explaining f1, and talkin about incidents and leaving out details that change the perspective of the story to fit their lame video title. Don't think i am unjustified. But think about this, in order to know how good you are at something requires almost exactly the same skills as it does to be good at it in the first place, so if you are absolutely no good at something you lack exactly the skills to know you are no good at it. You said you watched all the races, but still only get half the story. You don't even have any arguments against my claim, and i know it's hard because they are facts, but at least stand by the video you made. You only state that you watched every race, which is pointless if you don't actually follow what's going on, which you clearly didn't. Then you state you like to think you know what you are talking about which your video so greatly disproof. The fact you are surprised you trigger people when you are not telling stories correctly and leaving out important details is surprising to me. Rtd.
