I think what makes redmen TV stand out is they’ve got a quite a good variety of content , opinions and occasional will make something amazing like interviewing Klopp and all his staff and even when they’ve got emotional and frustrated after a bad result they don’t disrespect player or the club like some fan channels do .

I enjoy RedmenTV but I think they could do more research when it comes to talking about players outside of Liverpool. When it comes to football (and life for that matter) there are 2 truths - reputation and facts. Often, I hear the reputation opinion on non-Liverpool players. As Liverpool fans we know the difference when it comes to our own players but we should do better by researching when it comes to non-Liverpool players. Ste's a straight shooter though. Enjoyed watching him utterly shit on everyone's Football Manager ideas of selling Salah the other day, telling everyone it's completely in Salah's hands - if he wants to do an Mbappe and leave for free in a year and take all the money for himself in a sign on fee, he will - Liverpool have zero power in selling him. Absolutely spot on.
@liverpooljapan3 ай бұрын
Salah does hold all the cards and either way, he deserves his choice after his performances for Liverpool! A true legend and still has so much to offer! New hairstyle too! YNWA

Hear me out... what about.... trent as a 10👀 free from the defensive shackles and free to do what he's best at, attacking! Something like this in pre season just to have a look at it: Alisson Quansah Virgil Bradley Robbo Endo Macca Elliott Trent Gakpo Nunez Might look a bit of a crazy lineup, but I'd love to see Slot try something like this. Trent is too bogged down in the 6 position imo. He needs to have a free role where he's told to just roam and find the space to hurt teams. He does his very best work when he's roaming around the top half of the pitch picking out killer passes and being a danger with his shooting! I honestly believe that lineup would be very good! Bradley, Elliott, Trent, macca, Gakpo all controlling the game with how technical and composed they are, Nunez making the runs in behind. Endo sitting stopping the counters. As I say, it looks crazy, but I'd be intrigued.
@liverpooljapan3 ай бұрын
Offensively, Trent can do alot of things but the more further forward you play him, the easier it is to devise a system to drown him out and put your best markers on him. It also takes away his long ball playing ability and he can't get half a yard as easily as Gerrard or De Bruyne because they have the burst of acceleration and power that he lacks. Trent needs to go into space looking forwards to play a killer ball and his 1 touch progressive passes are also the easiest to get wrong on occasion, so I think Slot keeps him at RB to make RB a position of strength with him and Bradley.
@stuart_edward3 ай бұрын
@@liverpooljapan I actually agree on most of your assessment, but there's a couple things I don't. For example, we have no evidence to suggest that he gets drowned out the further forward you put him, as he's always been used at RB or the CDM position, arguably the busiest area on the pitch. That CDM position that Southgate played him was the worst possible position to play him. In that position, he's pressed by opposition forwards and like you say, doesn't have time to pick those long balls and dangerous through balls that he's so good at. He doesn't have the ability to be press resistant in there like Macca does, for example. I agree that Trent's best qualities aren't used properly when he's playing there, in the heart of midfield, because it's too congested, however, that's not where I said I wanted to see him play. Maybe you've misinterpreted it my friend. My point was, that I would love to see him playing in a free role without the defensive shackles that so often weigh him down and cause him to lose confidence. Those defensive responsibilities have been the bane of his career and the whole reason rival fans and pundits slate him so much. For me, if you take those defensive shackles off of him, you have a player that's free to express himself and you get the full extent of his potential. Think about Trent's best games last season. He was picking up the ball around the 18 yard box, popping up on the LW position, RW, attacking midfield position etc.. controlling the game from the 18 yard box and around it, looking for the killer pass or shot. He was so confident when he was working around that area and making the difference. When he picked up the ball and drove forward through the middle, I'd argue that he does have enough power to do that. Just watch last season as I say. When we were chasing a game, he was moved into midfield completely and that's when we came back into MULTIPLE games. Trent ran the whole matches when he moved there and he somehow managed to score or assist. So what would that look like? It would look like us having 2 full centre midfielder. Out and out CM's that do that job and allow trent to sit in front of them, then scan the pitch for SPACE. Just as you said, he needs space to do his best work. Playing a free midfield role, he has the chance to roam left, roam right, drop deep, and in general find space to hurt teams, which is what he's best at. Defending is doing nothing more than ruining the lads confidence because he's exposed so much to criticism after every mistake. If he makes mistakes at the other side of the pitch while trying to create, it's fine! We have the players behind him. Rather than him being at the back and losing it in the last line. I apologise for the very long comment, but this is the last part. KDB has that exact role I'm talking about. The team is set up to have workers all around the pitch in order to let him flourish. He doesn't play CM on the pitch like he is on paper. Let me put it this way, if you put KDB at RB because he has more space in front of him, imagine how much it would take away from his game having to think about defending? Imagine the abuse he'd get for giving goals away? We're holding Trents ability back imo.
@stuart_edward3 ай бұрын
@@liverpooljapan the main take from me is that he is really targeted at RB and it ruins his confidence. You just have to watch the games when we were behind, and Trent was told to move into midfield properly. You see his body language change completely, instantly! All of a sudden he has an extra swagger and you can tell he thinks "yeah I'm the man now, I'll control this game from here without having to worry about defending." Just go back and watch the full games when klopp takes the defensive shackles off of him and tells him to just roam and control the game.

I honestly don’t think we need any transfers yet, let Slot give young players a chance. We have plenty of young players who can step up

Slot will definitely assess all the players properly in pre season before making key decisions on personnel. You are right! YNWA

This can be off topic, but tell something, reports or sources everytime talks about Liverpool transfers just like they do with Man U and they always not true as Liverpool never discuss their transfers but the reports continues unabated, why are they given the space
