The idea is great and I’m all for what he does and what’s he about but some of the stuff he does is a little excessive. Like does he really need to do that McGregor strut every time he pitches? It was funny the first time. Idk about the third or fourth time. It just looks silly when you showboat and you’re not even winning. What exactly are you showing off? Idk if that’s the message you want to send to young, aspiring baseball players. I love the vlogs regardless and I hope we see more stuff like this in future seasons. Connor Hutchinson Sure it’s not a big deal. But, is that the message you want to send to kids? “Do whatever you want as long as you’re having a good day” It’s still a team game. I rather see him screaming at his teammates trying to get them to wake up and get the bats going than him essentially saying “hey look at me! I’m so good!” in a game where the opposing pitcher was just as good as he was. I thought the priority is to win, not just have a good day personally. And before you think otherwise, I am a fan of what he does. However, the execution is not as good as everyone thinks. At least it was here. There’s still a time and place for everything. Even if you’re pitching like he is

Greg A if your worried about kids seeing him walk off the field in a weird way then they shouldn’t watch football ether they freak out and have a party for every tackle or touchdown or anything they do that’s somewhat right so if his walk is a bad influence on kids they honestly shouldn’t watch anything at all because what’s the point of watching something that’s normal the point of watching of something is to see something entertaining or different and that’s the problem and what Trevor is trying to change about baseball he wants to make it entertaining for fans again and if that’s more energy when someone performs well like strutting off the field or flipping your bat when you hit a tank I say go for it because we as fans and them as players all feed off that energy wanna keep watching vs just a blank facial expression for everything to keep everyone from getting offended for doing something crazy like go 7+ innings in the playoffs with no run support

Connor Hutchinson You can’t compare celebrating scoring touchdowns and walking off the mound in a tied game. That’s the most ridiculous comparison ever. If I was talking about homeruns, sure. But I’m all for bat flips and slow trots or whatever anyway. But that was a stretch and a half. Anyway he’s not just doing it for the fans or anything. He does it for himself too. He wants to be noticed. He likes the attention. Stop thinking he’s the guy that’s gonna save the game because that’s what he actually wants. For you to think that about him. He can do whatever he wants, but he looks like a fool for acting like that in a game they weren’t even winning. Because guess what? 2 games, 0 runs. In and out. I’m really glad that stupid strut of his was such a huge difference maker there. If he strutted in a game that they actually won, it may have been on more highlight reels. More exposure, more potential fans getting interested. See what I mean? He just looked like an idiot and got nothing out of it.
