Emerald Elite Redux's unique spin regional forms. Redux Noviern and Redux clawizer have been given all new designs abilities and types! I go over some of their new moves and all their changes. These Pokemon are strong and bring new life to these old designs.

Ahh… Clawitzer. My favorite Pokémon of all time. And you can tell, too, whatwith the regional form and absurd buffs I gave it. Redux Clawitzer was the first regional form me and James made for the game, and he’s based on the Artificer from Risk of Rain 2. But you already talked about him here, so I won’t dwell. Check out the base forms of these Pokémon, though! Noivern has gotten some nice buffs and Clawitzer… well, you can check that one out yourself. Plus, he got agility!

This Duosion and Gible are cute, but I'm curious what's behind the shadows because they also look interesting. It would also be interesting if Hypno got a new form in where it could look like something like a witch, for example with the Poison/Dark types, it would be great if he got such a form in pokemon ER

Noivern is always good for regional form ideas. My favorite has to be in the fan game Pokemon Insurgence where you are sent on a quest to retrieve an egg guarded by two noiverns who turned to statues to protect their egg and you’re left to take care of the regional Noivern who is grass/steel, making it a lot of fun to use.

How they perform in practice: Before discussing redux claw, a few aspects: Firstly, it naturally has 2 4x weakness due to its typing in ground and rock, ground gets covered by levitate, but not only is rock an issue, it also means that it should be 4x weak to stealth rock…. Except due to his abilities interact with hazards, it only takes damage from rocks as if it was only regular super effective, so you aren’t locked to boots…. In game anyway Showdown doesn’t have this implemented correctly so it takes 50% from rocks With that, as for this Mon in practice, even with it’s limitations, it’s actually a pain to switch into, partly because it is strong for its speed but also because nothing that checks this thing shrugs off the near guaranteed burn it gets from searing shot. Redux Noivern meanwhile hasn’t been tested much, but mainly uses rock head since head smash is too good if a weapon to pass up on, and either choiced or ddance sets with moves like polter and u-turn
