tried for a year to play the reel with the burl after seeing this vid, thought i was getting close and just looked back and im no where near :P i'm even more in awe then i was before... im. not sure Hayes is human :P

Jeeeez.... Amazing. Coming close to Martin Hayes' level is definitely NOT a goal for me. If it was, i'd probably get frustrated after a couple of years and bury my fiddle somewhere deep in the woods :-D I'll just keep having a good time playing and leave this kind of virtuosity up to the pro's. Thanks for the goosebumps!
