Too bad CAFOs are not concerned with the soil or the next generation. Industry only care about profits. Corporate heads say to hell with the land, the plant, and the people how eat the antibiotic, hormone, and corn filled beasts they mistreat. Good for Greg Judy wanting to leave things better than he found them. Unfortunately, there are too few and far between thinking along these lines.

Been "near and around" farming all my life, my grandfathers were farmers, but I went off in a different direction. That direction did not pan out. I'm IN this time. What I've learned from Greg Judy, Gabe Brown, Joel Salatin, Elaine Ingham, Russell Hedrick and others using/teaching regenerative practices has me flat out changing everything. I'm already a grass farmer in my head, shopping for posts and chargers and stock! I have land and there's land all around me suited to this. Just a few months ago I had zero intentions of running livestock of any sort--but that was before these folks illuminated my new path. Thank you Greg and all those other folks.

What you said about the soil really got me. My mother's family is from Oklahoma, and they stayed. The didn't end up in California like so many. But it's been almost a hundred years and the wheel turns. Pandemics back, and the grain/grass/prairie, is loosing it's top soil again. This is a wonderful and inspiring film, thank you Greg Judy. Today we drove 300 miles through central England and saw alongside the road mile after mile of tilled, light brown/grey soils alongside over-grazed wet pasture. How do we change this reality? The land is our best, best chance to draw carbon down and provide food for future generations.
