Respectfully I agree with you in part first both man and woman needs to have something to respect. I would add that starts with Exodus chapter 20 verses 1 through 17. God tells us how to conduct ourselves but since our ancestors from back in the day all the way up through to this very day with our people we do not listen: obedience is key disobedience leads to Deuteronomy chapter 28: The blessing and the curse. Until we turn back to God this is what it's going to be it doesn't matter if we have money don't have money in the city or in the country our people are gravely damaged the curse is no joke. The world can see that it is something wrong with our people but we ourselves only a few of us see it. I encourage you and others to keep God's commandments laws and statutes. It's tough out here sometimes between a rock and a hard place I want to deal with my people honesty love and care but we make it very difficult then we go to others outside of our race and have negative experiences. Peace and blessings have a good Sabbath day.

Worked the 2nd shift for 8 years with 10 co-workers on that shift. Our Supervisor was a Italian Man. He ran that shift like a MVP professional. He knew how to "deal" with ALL the Workers who were from ALL different ethnicities, he knew how to squash any bad situation and handle any problem. The Men respected him immensely. It was a absolute PLEASURE going to work. Unfortunately and sadly he passed away from a Heart attack. His position was filled by a Black Woman and from DAY ONE for no reason she brought disaster. She had an attitude with everyone, made false accusations, brought violence to the workplace (just ONE example, she accused a worker of throwing coffee on her car so she brought in two Men friends of hers and threatened to kill the worker) and above all that was completely incompetent at her job. What is hilarious is that this is the norm anytime a Black Woman gets promoted to a supervisory position in D.S.N.Y. For some reason, A LOT of them think that they have to be hard, rude, and talk to and treat their employees like trash! Also, a lot of them don’t want to pay on the basis of being small and will overwork their employees to avoid hiring more staff. I am big on PROFESSIONALISM and SERVICE and I’m NOT staying anywhere if I’m not appreciated, black owned or not!!!!! 🤷🏽♀️

This is so disturbing and unacceptable! Why all the profanity? Why aren’t they able to speak to one another with respect. What’s so sad is we don’t look out for each other. We should be showing everyone else how we expect to be treated by them by treating our own with dignity and respect.

Many times, we simply don't treat each other well and are far too comfortable acting out with each other. I have not witnessed us acting in such a way in other communities. Just my observation.

I do not believe the lady in the middle when she said that she has had more negative experiences with people of other ethnicities. I hate to call someone a liar. I’ll just say there’s a level of dishonesty with her. Rude people come in all skin colors in society, but most of the rude behavior in American society is perpetuated by black people by far. It’s been decades since I’ve worked in a customer service position, but whenever I walk into an establishment where I am about to be serviced by a black person there is often a sense that they portray themselves as if they are doing me a favor by simply being in their presence. For the life of me I cannot understand why some people choose to work in customer service positions if their actions communicate that they do not want to provide customer service. Now this is not all black people and it is always refreshing when I’ve received service without an ounce of attitude or lack of patience on their part.

I treat people according to their behaviors, not according to color codes. I just think people like to highlight "Black" coded people's bad behaviors and too many of us follow suit. I have seen "White" coded people disrespecting each other. One of the reasons "Black" and "White" is highlighted more than the "Others" is because a lot of us do not work and/or live around the "Others". Those who do work and live around them can attest that they disrespect each other as well.
@laniquegolphin50042 күн бұрын
They other races don't respect us either. But wr tend to complain in-house about them and not publicly and its been that way for decades. We do, however, treat our own the same way but we have they expectation that we will be treated better. Then when we're not, we get so upset and hurt that we choose to expose what happened and shine a light on the companies lack of professionalism. We need to do that with everyone. We still protect other people more than we protect or coverup our our. When everyone should be on an even playing field. We also, do NEED to learn to TREAT, TRUST, and RESPECT our own better. We were taught not to do these things and it's embedded in us. That needs to change immediately. It starts with self, then at home, next in the family, then one's neighborhood and community. We have got to stop believing in living as if we're not valued!

As a former business owner, one thing that use to piss me off is our people always asking for a discount when coming into my business. Do you ask poppeyes, kfc, McDonald's etc. y'all dont ask them for discounts. Rude behavior from our own at black owned business, unacceptable. I currently work a job dealing with the public, some of our people need a course on how to talk with people.
@arleneaugustahair839320 сағат бұрын
I live in a very large military town. I always ask if they have military discounts because a very large amount of stores do. If they don’t, it doesn’t mean that I’m not going to buy from them. It just simply means they don’t. The guy at Staples was shocked that I didn’t cuss him out about it. He says that he hears it a whole lot from other veterans. I don’t have time for that. I ask and if they say no, I continue on with my transaction. I still go back as long as I’m treated well.

It is amusing yet sad to see black people acting out of character. This behavior and dynamic between a black customer and black customer serviceman isn't unusual or shouldn't be a surprise that black folks are acting up in public. The young lady handling the situation with the man was unprofessional and lacked customer service skills. Why was she hired? There are codes of conduct and rules that needs to be followed and the young lady failed to follow it. She should have been more compassionate in accommodating the customers need. The old saying, "the customer is always right" is not applied here neither is the young lady held accountable for her action because it appears she is this way to all customers. This also tells me, the company have poor managerial skills and lack how to remedy the situation especially if the customer continued to rant.

As a 51-year-old professional black man, I've come to expect bad customer service from black people. Particularly black women, for the most part. The more pleasant and professional you are, the more they view you as weak. I have very short patience and can be quick-tempered, so I avoid receiving service so things don't escalate. I'll wait to see any other race is working alongside to receive better treatment, especially at airports.

I'd like to see the full clip. There is no customer service in America. Usually its a 3rd party contracted out for the wheel chairs. Idk how long he had to wait, if he ordered one in advance or what escalated the situation but customer service and customer behavior is at an all time low. Houston is one of the worst for both.
@kevingraves35664 күн бұрын
First of all, TMZ, has always had black folk best interest at heart.... not. Next 2, 3 or more things can be right and wrong at the same time. As someone who worked in retail for over 8 yrs, knows the customer "is not" always right. That being said as an employee or worker in a customer service field it is your job to treat people well. There is little to no training being provided these days on how to handle or assist a difficult customer. Also the actual customer service being provided is not a priority, the profit margin for most companies is the priority. Customer service often is the minimum available, so it is not a priority. When we pay money we have expectations. We work in customer service we will run into customers that are or feel entitled. We dont know how it came to point that was recorded. We would like to think that the more mature customer, in age, would have handled it differently, but we dont know his situation. Nor do we know the situation of the young lady. So both could have a point and be right and be wrong at the same time. This may not even be a black on black issue at all. End result isnt always the issue, there is a such thing as root cause analysis.

It’s the way they behave at home. I’m sorry but they just don’t come to the work place and it switches on. They more than likely grew up in a household where they were spoken to and speak to each other that way. No respect for themselves or others. What people do not seem to realize is that subconsciously you internalize that when a person looks a certain way or look like what you see at home, you don’t need to curb that demon as hard.
