The Reluctant Reviewer, Kewpie83 and September Thrift Store finds

I only found two dolls in the beginning of the month. At the end of the month there will be a doll show in the area, so let's keep our fingers crossed. But I like my two finds.
Kewpie83 and Barbee0913 are a mother and daughter doll collecting team. With a wide variety of dolls in their collections they work together and independently to showcase dolls of all kinds and celebrate the doll collecting hobby. Yes, I thought it was sad too. And the prices people used to pay for the. I remember when I bought Kewpie one, it wasn't cheap.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Well, we can't live stream, that usually messes up on us. It's a fairground bldg and the wifi doesn't seem to be that good. But she will definitely take many photos.

I have a Betty Boop doll because my mom told my sister and I when we were younger about the cartoon character, Betty Boop. After that we nicknamed my mom Betty Boop because Betty was her name and she had black hair like the character. Unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina flooded our home in 2005 and ruined a lot of my doll collection but I did salvage Betty Boop minus her clothes. My mom has passed away but the character will forever remind me of her. Thanks for bringing back some lovely memories.

Love your My Twinn! I wish we had more thrift stores in Indianapolis, besides Goodwill, to find great things lIke that. They keep the good dolls to sell online. Not fair!

The My Twin doll is cute...pretty big but then they were making it child like. I remember hearing about them years ago but never saw any till now. I've never been into Betty Boop but her yellow outfit is very cute. Last Saturday I was at Value Village and found the American Girl doll, Kit. She had no clothes but was in great shape with uncut hair. I only paid $6! Therecis a picture of her on my Instagram, (antiqueknut) if you would like to see . She's wearing a candy corn dress I made for my Molly (AG) a few years back.

Wow, great price for Kit. When I used to work at a library, the Kit and Kaya doll we had for department programs sat on my desk. I wish I had taken them with me when I lost my job, instead I passed them to a workfriend whose desk was near mine to take care of them. I hope they've been using them for something since I've been gone. I will have to find your instagram.
