I've heard every story, from every survivor that i could, and this one is so wonderfully joyous. I could see Hashems hand at so many moments. The womens strength is wonderful. The image of two little ladies on a golf cart with a hand gun to rescue a mother about to birth is truly heroic and the comment to her husband " shut up, i am the only one who is going to kill you" had me laughing ❤. This little boy is probably the first baby born after that terrible day. Within him is the hope and the light and the resilliance of the Jewish people, he is the first new life to come after that dark day. And i can see he has the most perfect parents to nurture him and make that grow. Bless this little family, may Hashem wrap his loving arms around you all, making your days long and prosperous. Well, this is one American that does not take lightly each and every Israeli life that has been lost due to this war. I GRIEVE over each of them. I hurt for the hostages that were released and were able to speak about their person experiences as a hostage held by animals…….I’m horrified w/each of them. My heart bled as I listened to the grandmother/Holocaust survivor talk about her time as a hostage. I grieve each time I read of a service dog lost in battle. I wept when I saw the wounded soldier and his service dog were reunited. That is a very special bond and so touching to see them reunited. So, no, I’ve not forgotten nor have I pushed it to the back of my heart or mind.

I once picked up a hitch hiker going to Sederot who wanted me to come to this Kibbutz as I'm an engineer. I stayed at bachal Oz. Obviously a great bunch of people; the entire Sh'ar Ha Negev was a prosperous and very special place.

As terrible as what had happened on that day to everyone involved, they "all" Won.. they all beat death, and so they all beat the Hamas Murderers that terrible day. AND... another life was born, of Jewish dissent! HA! Also, new mother, I Love your way and outlook on life, and of living life. (what you said at the end of your talk).. Even with possible death facing you both that day, your grit & faith to survive, gave you much courage and strength to face everything with faith and love, for each other and for your baby, you gave the "Good Fight". Keep Strong, and keep the faith, both of you. Your baby is strong & healthy. Teach, by showing, your son his "inner- strength", just as you both did on that Horrific and Blessed day.
