Those look pretty good. Nice size wings also. I love spicy wings and I prefer the drums also. KFC is good if you’re lucky enough to get fresh food. Having to blow you’re nose is a good sign you are actually getting some spice. That’s a plus in my book. Nice one Royce.

These spicy wings seem to be getting mixed reviews, but mostly not positive. It's a lesson on how going for something special of fraught with problems for very large fast food chains. Sure you'll get some fans, but a whole lot of other people will be disappointed, and you don't want to give your customers the idea that they're gambling when they come to you for lunch. That's why McDonald's is so slow and conservative when it comes to special menu items. They're more likely to just rename and repackage an existing item for a promotional tie-in than to actually change a recipe.

Honestly, for the price, it's not bad. $6 for 8 decent sized wings. Really, it's the fact they kept it extra crispy that saved it, though.
