Wow these tigers seem quite timid. I remember when you guys rescued Andre, Arthur, and Amanda, they were roaring and being very open about how they felt :P but there were no roars on camera for these 5...Hopefully it just means they're a bit quiet and that there are no health issues! Looking forward to updates and an actual video introducing these 5!

Deemaree Dubois actually they have very good vision in the dark, and they don't really need to see it in the light to be comfortable with their surroundings. I'm sure the ground feels good under their paws and would feel the same day or night. But i guess you never know.

Another great rescue. I am moved by the fact that all of you are so willing to put your lives on hold to rescue these beautiful animals whenever they are in need. I agree with you. Most of the tigers who are seen as “pets” often don’t get a proper diet and space. Tigers need big wide open space not just a 8x8 cage with nothing but water

We do not take big cats from the wild like that. Sumatran tigers are very rare and are not a big part of the exotic pet trade where the majority of our big cats come from.

Ive watched this video SO many times. Whenever the cruelty becomes too much to handle, it helps watching this video tuning in on the expressions on the tigers faces. How they goes from fixed round open eyes to calm relaxed expressions with their cute ears pointing curiously at wherever they see a new thing. Those happy faces sniffing the ground, relaxing in the grass, enjoying calm naps in the dens - its just SO evident on their facial expressions that they "like what they see".

Nahodakk BCR is trying to do all that's possible for these animals that are put in situations not by their own choice. I'd love to see them all free in the wild, but what with habitat destruction and poaching, "the wild" has become a very hard life for tigers and many other species of wild animals. People trying to provide the best life possible for them in a captive environment are to be commended. They've dedicated their lives to helping these animals that would otherwise be dead. BCR's environment is the next best thing to life in the wild; maybe better in some respects. Life in the zoo, circus or as pets tied up in the back yard is a terrible fate for them.

It is very common to rescue overweight big cats. A lot of facility feed them an improper diet high in fat. Priya looked the biggest, but she had a health issue causing her to look very overweight. There will be a video about that really soon.
