MCAs are ONLY effective if you are at the BEGINNING of an infection. But they are a treatment, not a prevention. In the majority of things in our lives, most of use go by the addage that prevention is better than a cure. Or to be proactive and not reactive. So why would anyone not be proactive and get vaccinated? Taking a chance of being cured is pretty risky. Also MCAs are VERY expensive! And for the krischin nimrods who rail against vaccines being made from dead babies (they aren't!) MCAs use the same human cell lines to actually manufacture them. Plus other things that such nimrods might find distasteful in some way. Autoimmune Disorders. If you have such, your immune system is not producing antibodies and killer cells as it should and would have a more difficult time fighting off a COVID infection as well. PLUS these people may also not get enough protection from a vaccine for the same reason. Their immune system just isn't seeing the foreign proteins as dangerous and is not producing what it should. So these are people at risk no matter what. These are some of the people around us that NEED the protection of the HERD!!! The non-selfish and community minded among us who actually GOT vaccinated!

Vaccinated people still get and spread Covid-19 because no vaccine is perfect. And there's the other issue that the protective power of vaccines may wear out over time, requiring boosters or even new vaccines every once in a while (like the annual flu vaccine). But of course HCT would explain this much better than me!

The best prevention is limiting exposure. Masks!! 🥰 If you're wearing a mask don't forget that eyes are also mucus membranes; I've encouraged some friends to get vanity frames (no prescription in the lenses). I blaim the media. Journalist used to cover both sides of the news. You heard the doctors for and against something controversial then you were able to make a more informed decision based on your situation or at the very least your opinion wasn't polarized to one sides agenda. Right now all you hear are pharma funded FDA regulators, doctors who comply with FDA and horse paste drama. Making fun of a medication that is in clinical trials showing success against a deadly disease by only showing horse paste on the news and reporters saying ivermectin is "only for animals"...its all bad journalism. Many of the people who are taking ivermectin have a prescription from a doctor. It's just happenstance that this has become political. Prior to vaccine roll out people who followed the July 2020- January 2021 ivermectin studies in humans were not anti vax republicans. They were people everywhere, from all sides, who wanted to save themselves or their loved one because there was no vaccine. News has polarized everyone and distracted them from what's really important, saving lives.

My favorite quote about "in vitro studies" (maybe even from this channel): "You know what else kills viruses in vitro? Guns. Guns kill viruses in vitro" In vitro is always just a beginning. Tons of things won't get to the animal test because the dosage would be fatal. Tons of animal studies are stopped, because working in vitro drugs don't work in animals. Tons of primates stidies won't show the rats' results. Tons of human studies can't replicate the effects of animal studies. But guns do really kill cancer cells / viruses in vitro.

Good thing ivermectin is well tolerated in humans
@storyls
@storyls 2 жыл бұрын
@@thepope2412 There’s a famous saying in pharmacology, “the dose makes the poison.” Everything is toxic if given in sufficient amounts. Water for example is toxic if multiple gallons of it is drunk in one sitting. Ivermectin is no exception. It may very well have anti viral properties at very high concentrations, but these would certainly kill a human. It’s not safe to take in massive quantities like we are seeing now. In fact one can easily google the lethal dose of most drugs. Lethal Dose 50, or LD50, is a common statistic used to determine what dose of something is needed to kill 50% of the population. This is tested on most major drugs using monkeys or rats. For ivermectin, it’s about 24 milligrams per kilogram of body mass. Of course this is actually a fairly ridiculous dose, an average human would have to eat about 10 tubes of horse paste to achieve this, but toxicity occurs well below the lethal dose.

I just made a comment along these lines. There is an effective way to speak to vaccine-skeptical and pro-ivermectin communities, but this video wasn't it. A few of the problems: - horse in thumbnail, - ignoring the Tess Lawrie meta analysis, - ignoring the protocols by FLCCC that are much lower than the toxic amounts mentioned in the video, - highlighting the FDA's tweet that ridicules people using the veterinary version of ivermectin and conflating that with all ivermectin use, and - nodding to the debunked stories about floods of ivermectin cases coming into poison control and hospitals. You have to engage honestly with the concerns and ideas that are in play without resorting to ridicule. I've been vaccinated since last year, and I'm not clear on the ivermectin situation! The recent McMaster study (awaiting review) was very helpful. Videos like this one are much less so.

I think what you're referring to is when India announced it as a treatment for covid patients, then covid cases decreased? It was thought of as a treatment, not prevention. So the cases dropping doesn't show that it worked. If rates of death and severe issues dropped then maybe. The drop occurred a week after the announcement. So in 1 week a country of more than 1 billion all got ivermectin to slow the number of cases?(ignoring treatment vs prevention point). That didn't happen, again treatment, meaning you already got covid and they are giving you ivermectin. Why the cases went down is pretty classy though, people reacted to the rise, coworkers that were there visitng parents said basically every other household on the street had it and people just locked down and stopped going out, everything was delivered that could be. And the important part is, when the announcement was made the R factor(rate of infection) had already dropped below 1.0, which meant the number of cases were going to start dropping soon, which they did. Hope that helps.

UK data pointed out that even a flu infection "more than doubles" the risk of death from covid, bacterial infections being even worse. That kind of hints at the possibility of some confounding effect of dewormers in eliminating potentially aggravating comorbid worm infections (or infections of other parasites with nervous systems), even though there is also at least one study suggesting that maybe some intestinal worm infections may be somehow somewhat "protective" against worse covid outcomes. Which would then be a confounder in the other direction. All that kind of discounting that the main theoretical mechanism(s) of anti-viral action would require concentrations that are not ordinarily achieved, though. I nevertheless vaguely remember reading something along the lines of ivermectin (maybe other dewormer) possibly being useful in up-regulating interferon production or release, which the virus itself would be somehow blocking/evading, maybe that wouldn't need super-high concentrations, but then I'd guess that the effects would be more clear, comparable to those of administration of interferon itself.

The article is just criticism to objections: "An objection(....) was that none of these RCTs had been published in mainstream peer-reviewed scientific journals. (...) Another objection that has been raised to the RCT evidence supporting IVM efficacy was that study populations were too small" And: "(...) compared IVM with two other drug treatment groups but not a placebo group and found no benefit], and an additional study conducted in Cali, Columbia with mix-ups between treatment and placebo doses as described below". In contrast, the incidence in another state of India - where ivermectin is not used - deaths from covid 19 in the month of September continues to be 300 times more than in Uttar Pradesh.

The drug is a 3CL protease inhibitor. This means it prevents the virus from replicating. None of these studies demonstrate that. Killing the virus and stopping it from replicating aren't the same thing. Its meant to be used as a preventative and very early treatment. The earlier it's used the better. If it doesn't stop hospitalisation and emergency in anyone that means it was used too late. On top of that, instead of the dosage amount required to stop replication, they list the amount required to kill the virus which is ofcourse going to be a stupidly high amount since it's not able to do that under any normal circumstances. Following this logic, they should be telling everyone how drinking water is dangerous because you can drown if you drink too much, ignoring everything else. That's basically what's they've pulled here and I don't know how they sleep at night
