Almost forgot - Kogler many, many thanks for putting this up. The video quality is great, and I've enjoyed this more than the Demons Dance Alone official release.

Then again, Eric Drew Feldman may be the keyboard player on the left. On myspace it lists his credits with the Residents as playing bass and accordian as well as keyboards. Thanks for posting this! Great version of Micki Macaroni.

Best guess: Nolan Cook - guitar Eric Drew Feldman - other keyboard player (on far right) Toby Dammit - percussion I think all are listed on the DVD as performers, though not identified by instrument. It's been a while since I watched it.

Captivating; it's like Brecht doing 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' with a dollop of Commedia Dell'Arte. Once I'd watched this segment I had to watch all four. Great stuff.

I believe it could be Gerri Lawlor. She is credited on the Tweedles album. when I looked her up I got the person who does the female Simlish on the Sims so I'm not sure if it's the same person but I believe it very well could be.

I didn't know the residents were able to produce such a sound/song...this is so not them musically...but I still love it.

@sanstitle You mean the Demons Dance Alone DVD? If that's the one you're calling half-arsed, it's anything but.
@sanstitle14 жыл бұрын
@notusingtheZword I just would like to see an Ofiicial release of complete versions of these early shows. I wasn't talking about Demons Dance Alone which is excellent btw.

In the first 2 years of operations MTV played The Residents all the time because they were one of the few artists to have selection of videos and they were endorsed by MOMA . As soon as the industry boomed and became glutted with poop the Residents. THey sing about in their song Wonderful.

Why oh why can't The R's realese this and The Mole Show (not that have-assed Ralph official release ) on DVD?>

i can't see anything wrong about the picture quality. i have the whole 30 mitutes of it and it's great. in fact i prefer this, to the official DVD of this show, which is edited and ...non-live...In fact the sound in it is live, taken from one show but the picture is treated and taken from many shows. this one is a honest live performance. such a pity it is only thirty minutes long...

@notusingtheZword No no no...What I'm saying is I'd like to see an official release COMPLETE version of 13th anniversery AND The Mole Show instead of these bits and pieces scattered about. What I meant by "half assed" (half-assed=incomplete and using computer graphics as fill in) was that "official" Ralph records VHS of The Mole Show.The music by the Residents is NOT half assed.I know Ralph realeased a limited edition DVD of The Mole Show (Complete Show-1 camera shot)

@rubikscube10111 Excuse me? No. This particular piece of music will open and expand the mind of any child. Clearly you are an adult whose mind has already closed itself off and any possibility of accepting that others may benefit from anything outside of your personal qualifications and parameters. Try listening to some other selections from them and realize that geniuses like Tom Waits, Captain Beefheart, Frank Zappa, Les Claypool, T-Walker and Mike Patton influence your favorite artists...

Look friend, dont't be more popeist than the Pope, como sea que se traduzca "No seas más papista que el Papa". I'm an older fan like you and at first moment think that way, but then... Anyway, all the elements are there, but what would blow people minds is that now the band rocks!
