Keep faith dear. the hardest thing a parent can endure is to see their child suffering whilst being powerless to intervene. I know it from both sides, as a father to my son who was given a very bleak prognosis and spent his first month alive in neonatal intensive care, and as a recovering drug addict that subjected my immediate family to the horrors of addiction. It's a terrible malady that instills doubt, grief and resentment in all who are touched by our lives, particularly our families. I have known families that walked away from other members struggling with addiction, and I thank God that my family remained in my corner. They had to distance themselves to protect their hearts and to avoid perpetually enabling my problem, but they remained available for the day that I would hopefully be ready to live differently. That saved my life. I will keep you and yours in my prayers. Keep the faith in love, for love is the only chance any of us have for salvation. It's easy to hate. It takes true grit to live through love. You clearly do, which makes you both exemplary and inspirational. Stay strong love, and God bless.

Gypsy, don't ever stop praying for him. My nephew was in that vicious cycle for almost 20 years and God delivered him from it. The Lord literally sprung him from jail and had all the charges against him dropped at exactly the perfect time in his life. This is after he had been jailed for many many felonies over those 20 years. Gods timing is perfect and he knows his children's hearts, when they are ready to overcome. I'm not kidding, when I speak of how this song has encouraged me, a wreck who feared she fell too far from God. I listen, and I hear adrenaline, anger, desperation, all things needed for a fight, all which I possess. Yet the war is not won by these things alone, and it can't be won by a single, sinful soul. We can't resist alone, if we try, we're most likely resisting fellowship and intimacy, what is needed for a relationship. For as Christians, that we desire, a relationship with God, and distance from the devil. Prone to wander, our hearts must not be our guides. The biggest thing we need to resist is self, the temptation for pride, or to judge our neighbor, to hold grudges and get angry. You know every day things. That is where we resist first. Only love wins the hearts of men and women, and I am commanded to do that. And it takes every bit of resistance, not to feel sorry for myself or over whelmed, or hurt or mad. I am free to choose to do good or bad, but that will not stop the either from influencing me. That means I am not free. Since rap came about when I was in the 3rd grade I disliked rap with a passion and couldn't wait till the style of rap would end but to my shagrin it has proliferated throughout all countries. However their is a first time for everything thing and this song with encouraging lyrics won me over for a singular exception. Bravo Josh; well done.
