Infact Da'wah is not just by words, it's our attitude.... brothers and sisters, let's take this reminder seriously and make lots of dua to Allah for our Ummah and guide every single believer to Siralul Mustaqeem...

Great reminder. Partially related, regarding the no excuse bit - Sometimes I see some non-Muslims (or more accurately doubters) coming up with comments along these lines: "Oh the Qur'an is just full of repetitive promises of punishments of the hellfire" or "Well either that or rewards about some garden with fruits & a river flowing beneath lol" or even stuff like "repetitive rants, nothing special". Which is surreal to me, as from common sense that should clearly indicate to us that it's precisely by having been repeatedly informed & reminded throughout via those "repetitive verses" that we will have ZERO excuse later in the Hereafter to claim/argue about not knowing the consequences of not adhering to the dos & don'ts in the Qur'an and Sunnah. I mean sure you then get replies like "lol it's just you Muslims' beliefs" yet seriously, how hard exactly or not making sense or even damaging to one's soul is it to believe in the One God & submit to Him Alone? For starters, zero risk for sure I'd say..

Islam commanded us to spread islam aknowledgement but how can we since we live in time that People fears to say even the name of Allah in puplic , i feel i know how phrophets of Allah felt .i swear it and what worse that the non muslim world thinks that we do that so they believe us so we get along together because theyre too good to be true and we are found with them , i laughted and cried at human stupidity when i realized that but at the end not every one ment for guidance thats not our job we are here for thise who accept Allah and these worth the troubles , the best deeds to Allah hearts is when you guide astray or teach them religion and that the reward we should set our sight on this motivates me alot .

I would be interested in knowing if any Muslim has examined and written about the works of Ernest Becker; especially his book The Denial of Death
@ItsAmena.Z
@ItsAmena.Z 10 жыл бұрын
I haven't, but i'm telling you no one can deny death, it's the only thing in the world that can't be rejected from anyone :)
@testsandmore
@testsandmore 10 жыл бұрын
Terror management theory (TMT) has provided 25 years of evidence to prove that we have an unconscious fear of death which we counter with various aspects of civilization. TMT and Becker maintain that we deny the insignificance and finitude that death represents by pretending to have 1) earthly significance (culture) 2) cosmic significance (religion). Culture continues after the individual's physical death and so by contributing to it, or living by its standards, one can acquire the illusion of symbolic immortality. Religion offers the promise of literal immortality (afterlife). Both culture and religion are designed to pretend that we are individuals of value in a world of meaning. Designed to deny the simple empirical reality that humans are objectively no more significant than lizards or potatoes. And that we die and that's it. This is the denial of death they refer to. Both cultures and religions consist of arbitrary inventions e.g. the games, dances, fashion styles, architectural designs, languages, God/Gods, angels, creation stories, Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Scientology etc are all basically random choices to which humans attach their sense of self. This sense of self, afraid of its impermanence and animal nature, wants to deny the arbitrariness/randomness of culture/religion, as this would erode their meaning, and thus the basis for our symbolic individual value.

@Muslim604c 10 жыл бұрын
***** It's an interesting theory, but it makes a couple of flawed assumptions. It assumes that religious people are less "afraid" of death than atheists... I'd argue that religion, specifically Islam, gives a lot more to be afraid of. I.e. having to answer for your deeds before God. We'd much rather just enjoy our worldly life and have death be the end of everything.
@testsandmore
@testsandmore 10 жыл бұрын
If you can show me any study showing that accepting death with no afterlife or cultural legacy actually decreases death anxiety, I can take your statement seriously. Until then, I will side with 25 years of TMT, which provides evidence for the exact opposite psycnet.apa.org/books/14045/005
@Muslim604c
@Muslim604c 10 жыл бұрын
***** www.jstor.org/stable/3509880 It claims there are contradictory results. In any case, there are religions that don't believe in an afterlife (for example: pre-Islamic Arabia), so that kinda takes the wind out of the sails of that theory.

Whats better, being judged on the day of Judgement in front of your family, friends, your grandparents, your ancestors, our Prophet Peace Be Upon Him, His Sahaba, and the WHOLE of humanity? Or being judged by some sheikh who might guide you to a straight path that leads you to Jannah? Salam.

My brother Noman, This is a very good advice for sure. Agree with the theme of the topic. But one point, I would like to disagree, just a statement, I hope you take this message only as opinion of another brother. I'm not going against you, just trying to put out my opinion, with the support from Quran and Sunnah. You said, "then on the day of judgment Allah will ask the people, did you receive messenger? they might say no"; about this statement: I would like to say that people will say yes, I would like refer you to a verse from sura Mulk to prove this point, Iat # 9, They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, ' Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.' ". Beside no one will be able to lie on that day. We should do dawa, because Allah sent us "muslims" as daee or reminderer - barer of Enjoining good and forbidding evil. It is by Enjoining good a person will be prevented from Evil. 2nd reason: muslims must know that he is automatically a daee, because he now must introduce Allah and His Rasuls to the new person who is born on this earth, specially the parents. Rasullah (saw), more or less meaning, said all children are born as muslims, it is the parents who take them to different religion. So if the parent does not learn the proper Islam, he and she is doing injustice to the child, automatically. So therefor everyone must keep on learning the proper Islam from a righteous scholar. 3rd reason: Story of Sabath. 7:164 - And when a community among them said, "Why do you advise [or warn] a people whom Allah is [about] to destroy or to punish with a severe punishment?" they [the advisors] said, "To be absolved before your Lord and perhaps they may fear Him." Anyway, this is becoming too long: I would like to end it one statement, that I want you to thing about. The new fitnah: This reminderers are now becoming only responsibility of the stage speakers. And generel public is now leaving the reminder job to the stage speakers. Remember the iat 41:33 " And who could be better of speech than he who calls [his fellow-men] unto God, and does what is just and right, and says, “Verily, I am of those who have surrendered themselves to God”?" Jazzak Allah Khair, your brother in Islam - jahanur

Christianity in 50 lines, and peace be to my Muslim friends. Glory be to God in the Highest, HE is of the Unseen and cannot be comprehended by the human mind. To the Muslim, the Most High and Most Blessed is Allah. To the Rasta Man, the Most High and the Most Blessed is Jah Jah. To the Hindu the Most High and Most Blessed is Brahman. And to the Jew the Most High and the Most Blessed is Yahweh. We all have an understanding of a ONE All Powerful God. Now Followers of Christ bear witness to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit bears witness to three essential facts. 1. Jesus Christ did come in the flesh. From the times of Moses a Holy Anointed Prophet was foretold of coming. Jesus Christ is that Holy Anointed Prophet, and yes He did come in the flesh. 2. Jesus Christ did resurrect 3 days after crucifixion. This shows that we to will resurrect, some to eternal happiness, and others to eternal gloom. A feat made possible by Allah, out of respect for the Muslims here on this channel. 3. Jesus Christ did ascend to the Right Hand of Allah. This shows that we to will ascend to the Kingdom of Heaven. Now Jesus Christ gave two commandments. 1. Honor the Father, whatever your interpretation of HIM is whether it be Allah, Yahweh, Jah Jah, God, Elohim, Brahman...and ultimately the list goes on. Through the religions of the world, as long as they have an understanding that the Most High is ONE, it is there interpretation of HIM, and to say that this is impossible is to put limitations on HIM. And the second commandment is to love your neighbor as much as yourself. Which ultimately means I respect you if you call HIM, Allah. You respect me if I call HIM, Jah Jah. And we respect they if they call HIM, Yahweh. Now we go into giving glory to the Most Blessed God of Creation. If a Doctor used his knowledge and understanding for the glory of HIM, the Most Blessed God; would he expect more money than the Chef who cooks for the glory of God? I think not, they would both be using there attributes and characteristics for the glory of HIM, whatever those attributes are. Now we have a glimpse at what the Christ was saying when He taught that the Kingdom of Heaven is all around us. These teachings are not mine, I can assure you of this. These teachings are the basic foundations of the Lord Jesus Christ (a title given to Him, by the Most Blessed God) for He alone overcame sin through death. Even if none of this makes since now, understand this; THE DAJJAL IS ON THE VERGE OF BEING REVEALED. DO NOT WORSHIP ANY MAN ON THIS EARTH. Peace be with the eyes that stumble across this message. Glory be to the Most High and Blessed God, and Praise be to the Son Jesus Christ. Alliances are being built my Muslim friends, and the only way to the Most Blessed is through the Son, and all it takes is praying to Allah and letting HIM know that you respect what the Christ did on the Cross. If you take this path and ask for the Blessed Holy Spirit, you will have no doubt that you have been touched by the Finger of Allah.
