I lived in the Peoria area (Dunlap) for nearly three years, and it was by far one of the best experiences of my life. I'm from Chicago and there were a ton of people who told me not to move there for work. I'm so glad I didn't listen to these folks. This area is far much nicer than most people would know.

There's an overpass on I-74 over the Murray Baker Bridge. It's very high up over the interstate. Your next piece should show a view from below and above. The structure is notable because it was built on an angle due to the topography. Reminds me of back east in Pennsylvania. Go up and over it. Look west and film downtown. back in the 70s Peoria hts had a brewery for pabst beer it closed by the early 80s and they finally knocked it down when it caught fire. Now all that area is redeveloped. Northwoods mall has been actually struggling since the outdoor mall was built on the other side of town in the late90s It used to look like that for a few years before they finally have been getting new stores to fill it back in It dont help that sears folded up years ago.

While traveling on prospect you labeled peoria heights and peoria wrong. peoria was to the right and height the left. also if you would have traveled to the end of glen ave, you would have wound up in the middle of grandview drive where the most expensive houses are in peoria. including a Scottish castle that was brought over here stone by stone at a cost of 1.2 million (i believe in the 80's) and is worth over 10 mil now. not sure how the median house value is only 83k unless they are counting some homeless guy's cardboard box, and even then the median would be like 5 mil. also as was stated in other comments, there's grand prairie mall, our theaters, an ice rink, museums, and then there's dunlap, morton, alta which is a town you miss if you blink, but has the rock island bike trail, which used to be a railway but was converted when it was decommissioned. bet you didn't know you could get from peoria to rock island on a bicycle without having to worry about getting hit by a car. lol anywho just an idea. maybe spend a few days in the towns. talk to the people, learn some stuff from the locals. then you'll have more to say to fill in the dead air, and also you'll have all the good spots (or bad spots) i like the concept. just feels like the "tour" part is a bit rushed in the research department.

I seen a lot of beautiful homes. looks like the people take care of there homes despite any poverty or other nonsense going on..I only seen trash on one part of the video on the groun d, where as my City everywhere you go there is trash on the ground. corner stores, and people just walk down the street and throw the trash on the ground. I walk up to my door picking up trash that blew from somewhere... When I look at videos and go to any new city thats the first thing I look for.. Trash on the ground tells a lot about the people who live there.
